Murray street is a rough part of Hartlepool. Couple of mosques targeted apparently. Doesn’t seem a great deal of disorder. Just a few local smack heads taunting the police, hundreds of onlookers though. They’ve got no face coverings on. If they’re not locked up tonight, they will be tomorrow.

Earlier today I saw videos of the Southend fracas, there was clip of three lads with machetes. All of the comments were about it being black lads, immigrants, knife crime, take our streets back etc. Saw the local news tonight (I live nearby). Turns out there were were hundreds of mainly white youths getting off their tits on booze and drugs on the beach. It all overspilled into a riot when the police clashed. Nothing to do with race or religion. It's awful that the Southport murders have been used to stir and incite violence. The people doing this online - including those who retweet and spread unsubstantiated rumours - are absolute scum.
The same BBC who have been covering up sordid details of their employees for decades ? Saville, Stuart Hall, Rolf Harris and very recently Huw Edwards That is without the many, many reporting cover ups
Same thing happened last year. People organising parties on the beach, which then turn nasty. The Police were turning people back at the stations last year, if I recall correctly.

It's time to stop kids of this age 17 being protected by the courts and hiding behind anonymity. If your old enough to carry out these atrocities you should be named and shamed. I'd bring that age limit down to 10 if we must have an age limit at all.
It's all a load of sh!te isn't it? Nobody actually cares to solve these problems, just to point fingers, "boohoo smelly muslims", "boohoo uneducated gammons", expect this and 100x more in the coming years, unless, miraculously, there is a change in tact. Not holding my breath.
Personally I'd put armed soldiers on the streets for the next year, anyone caught with a knife or any sort of weapon to be send to prison for life. All this postcode gang bullshit is out of control especially Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford, Liverpool and London. Prisons are too full? All ****philes, rapists and murderes to be killed. There's your spaces.
In this case I don't disagree. However to take the Cliff Richard debacle, he was revealed as a pervert then all charges were dropped ... ... an ordinary person would've had their house targeted, run off the street and their lives ruined.
Understand what you saying Smug but I'm specifically calling out youngsters who go round slaughtering other gang members or anyone they fancy attcking. Every week there's cases,where the media are constrained in what they can report and like I said if your old and big enough to break the rules then take your punishment like the big lads do. If you can call our justice system as actually handing out punishment these days.
