Mahrez off to Man City

Am surprised that Ben Arfa doesn't seem to have been followed up - seemed to be willing to join us.

 

Riyad stepped up to take a pen to win the game late on at Anfield, I over estimated the outcome, I thought it’d at least be saved by the goalie.... shocking pen to be fair, he was shocking at them for us and shouldn’t be anywhere near them, no sympathy

 

Yh for some reason it took us ages to take him off them and give them to Vardy

 

Genuinely surprised he is always so insistent on taking them when he misses more than he scores - the abuse and guilt can’t feel good

 

I remember one he missed for us at Man City. Slipped and kicked it against his standing foot and it went into the top corner

 

That was unfortunate. The ones that stick with me were in the January of the title winning season at Home to Bournemouth in the 0-0 and shortly after away at Villa I think. Cost us 4 points that fortunately we didn’t need in the end. That Bournemouth game felt like it was slipping away after a sticky patch over that Xmas
