Yes he did. Was very commanding in midfield and cold head when needed. He had some good passes and controlled the tempo. A couple of mistakes due to his absence but showed real class. Better than Parker.
This. He gave us a better platform to play forward from. Sidwell especially benefited from having him there. Diarra, Richardson (as a left winger), Holtby, Dejagah... all of them are players who deserve bigger things than our relegation scrap. But they are also players who are growing in stature under Magath and giving us the very dangerous sense of hope.
Agreed surly. I noticed in the post match interview that Richardson looked much leaner and he of all the players looks to have loved working with Felix. Not much has been spoken about him but not so long back he was awful and rightfully getting slated. I have so much admiration for the way he has proved us all wrong and worked really hard to improve himself and to seemingly get back to loving football again. Take a bow Kieran.
I've said it before but we went downhill last season when he got injured. Welcome back Mo! Please stay fit.
Don't wish to concern everybody but at the "Open Training Session" at the Cottage this morning Diarra pulled up in the warm up, after only jogging two and a half laps of the pitch. He spent the rest of the time doing stretching things with one of the physios. [And shortly after was joined by Amorebietta]
