Away vs Forest - Saturday 10th - 17.30 kickoff. (live on Sky)
Huge game this weekend for us and a huge weekend of games!
A reasonable start to the second half of the season - where we've probably picked up as many points as could be expected (but in the wrong order) has felt slightly negative but if you'd offered us 4 points after City, Liverpool, Villa and Luton I'd have probably taken it.
Forest away is a tough but winnable fixture but one that is a must win for me. Looking at the other fixtures on at the weekend of those above us it is a great opportunity to close the gap to European places:
Villa (4th) - Man U (6th)
West Ham (7th) - Arsenal (3rd)
Spurs (5th) - Brighton (8th)
NUFC (9th) - Forest (16th)
Regardless of who wins what in those games, we need to take advantage of this set of fixtures. Add into that Forest have a replay vs Bristol tomorrow as well we should be fresher going into this one. Dropping points here is almost unthinkable but the boy's need to get back to the performance vs Villa and get the defense sorted out ASAP. Honestly if we lose this one I think Howe is starting to creep into dangerous territory.
Forest have 4 players at the ACON and Origi, Hudson-Odoi, Kouyate and Wood all injured and unlikely to feature.
NUFC could be without Tonali, Joelinton, Anderson, Pope, Target, Isak, Gordon, Lacselles and Willock although Little Joe is the most likely to feature.
Going 3-1 to the Toon but pretty nervous looking ahead to this one.
