Sunderland AFC will welcome Newcastle United U21s in the third round of the Checkatrade Trophy next month.

The game is to take place at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday 08 January, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Tickets for the tie are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for under 16s and over 65s. Sunderland supporters are advised that they are required to have a valid customer number and purchasing history recorded on the club’s database in order to buy tickets for this game. There is also a purchase limit of four tickets per supporter in place.

Just read that Stoke have forgone their share of the gate receipts for the recent match at Port Vale after their fans caused considerable damage at the Vale stadium.
Well we know where to send the bill if we experience the same problems next month, I'm sure Mr Ashley will gladly cough up as well.
