Shocked that Rafa has agreed to work for a bloke who is notorious for exploiting his workforce..I thought he had some integrity... Let's hope he gets off to a disastrous start, particularly in his first two games..
Toon Army aren't a workforce - they pay for the pleasure of being exploited and I think Rafa might be on a bit more than minimum wage
I thought you hated Leicester? On a serious note, the fans look like they're going to get behind him, aside from Moyes I can't see another manager they've been linked with for years that their fans would be excited about. Pearson would have probably turned them suicidal he's that underwhelming. Regardless of what each manager's individual merits are, that club needs them fans to be on side.
Interesting I've just the SSN section about Rafa and every club except his first Valencia he left in a worse league position than when he started. So a lot of trophies but not great in building long term success........saying that both sets of fans would snap your hand off for a trophy so he could get them a cup!
Bizarrely despite no clean sheet in ....forever.....I believe we are getting stronger at the back. We have goals in us. I look at Newcastle's team and they just look sh!t, especially their defence. I have no fear in going to their ground apart from the fact it is a derby and the fact that we are in deep sh!t at the bottom...oh yeah....and that it will be the new managers first home game. Other than that....
