Both of your sets of fans crying cos your game got a bit physical, hahaha.

What do you want a footy match or to watch the players making daisy chains and brushing each others hair?

Go take a look at some of the Turkish derby games or any of the last 20 Classico's, when the heat is turned up it gets physical, end of. You pick yourselves up and get on with it, there were no injuries so it was a good physical contest. Sessegnon got caught whacking somebody with his elbow and he got a red, big deal he'll be back. Cattermole is a muppet of the highest order and should have kept his trap shut, but you all know he's incapable of most things, so it's not a big deal.

Tiote's a class player, probably the most physical player in the league but most of his tackles are superb, I had to watch as the guy dismissed our entire midfield when we played away to Newcastle. Some opinions of him on here are way off the mark, and almost 100% based on the fact they see him as a dirty bastard, which he can be but that doesn't take away his ability. In my opinion he done what any good CM would do in a derby, he rubbed you lot up the wrong way.

So are you saying he was genuinely knocked to the ground by when Sess caught him?

Pretty accurate summing up of the situation. I personally have no problem with Cattermoles red card challenge, Frazier Campbells play acting, or indeed McCleans borderline red. Its just part and parcel of a derby. You just best not come knocking for Tiote in the summer!

Pap!

All I've been hearing for the past 24 hours of them is Catts is a thug, we're a dirty team, blah blah blah.

Care to explain? He was the dirtiest player on the pitch by a mile.

How the hell did the ref miss that!!
Obviously he turned a blind eye knowing sending a Skunk off would lead to the inevitable pitch invasion.
