Ive just watched 5 seconds of them on the news celebrating outside Sid James park with crates of Stella between their legs. Feck it im going back to sleep.
oh ffs...all we need now is 'king keegoon' to return and you wont see a sad mag forever. quite surprised at how fast this has happened considering there were court cases due etc...would not shock me to find a couple of backhanders have been exchanged, i mean, the FA are noted for their honesty and fair play, innit?
I am more than happy with the way our owner has gone about looking long term at setting us up for the future without throwing mountains of cash. I would not be as happy having an owner with no background in the game who is probably only interested in an investment, some place to stash a little bit of his cash. Money does not a football club make, it needs a passion for the game .. not sure Saudi money will offer that.
How can a takeover happened this quick, surely due diligence amongst other things has to be done or is it because they have that much money they haven't bothered
I think it was more who was controlling the club eg, NOT the Saudi state. Just wording it differently until all parties and a few people received brown envelopes. I think all of the other stuff such as due diligence will have been completed previously.
Love it. Apostrophes where they shouldn’t be!! Awesome! Apparently there were were thousands of them outside the club all day. Obviously the “investment in the region “ will mean they can all get jobs (or should that be job’s?) one, when interviewed, said “oh there’s human rights issues apparently, but the football is more important “ the gift that keeps on giving!
Where do you start with that? Clearly written by someone completely detached from reality and unfamiliar with the English language.
...while he unfurls his raggy cornered picture of king kevin and slowly unzips himself in anticipation...they can say all they want we ALL know this is about europe and 'top six' and the news is having the expected w@nkfest with people STILL talking about massive investment in the region now it has gone ahead.
I'm going to be honest and admit I'm gutted. Kept waking up last night thinking about it ffs. We would be owa the moon if it was us so let's not pretend otherwise. I think tho that even when they win trophies...and they will...most Geordies will know deep down that any club taken over by the Arabs would also win things. It sort of takes the shine off it a tiny bit I would imagine. I honestly think in time most top clubs will be owned by rich Arabs. As for SAFC we are doing it the right way. The humble way and one day we will be back.
