I recall reading an article recently (although cannot remember where), the point being made is that there are truly only 3 very rich clubs PSG, Man City and Chelsea so even Man Utd, Liverpool etc cannot compete with then on a financial basis.

PSG and Man City's owners are both obsessed with winning the Champions League and money is no object to achieving it.

With the shenanigans of FIFA atm going on.. football as I knew it as a kid is fast disappearing. The FA cup was the holy grail for English clubs and only the league winners went into the European Cup..

Money is the king unless you are mega rich then money is not an issue but winning trophies is the object.

 

The problem with owners like that is eventually they will get bored and move onto another challenge/hobby.

Honestly it's hard to find just one thing to laugh at with this.
