Does anyone believe the season ticket bit? How can it be down to season ticket holders but was sold as a package of 45 tickets to the school?

It’s absolute fantasy island just deflecting to not admit their ballots are absolute bullshit.

Charging folk a membership fee for a chance to get tickets they know aren’t readily available.

so the Schools decided to randomly pick the Scum v Barca game to randomly purchase 45 tickets of a re-selling site? Like any school would even consider it, whats next organise a random trip to Wembley for the FA Cup final and go round begging for tickets outside the ground? Pull the other one its got bells on.

Is that genuinely the best "excuse" the people in charge of them can come up with?

And go through all the risk assessments etc on a whim (that schools have to go through) - it was clearly organised

No.

‘It is understood that 78 Newcastle season tickets or memberships have been cancelled this season for unauthorised selling.

About 4,500 membership accounts are on an internal watchlist because of suspicious activity, while about 750 supporters are being actively monitored for potential touting.

Pretty sure a lot of kids would be up for it mind. A trip away was always a thing to savour, and they would have seen Barcelona, and that genuinely is a big draw.

When Newcastle were bought by a country with unlimited wealth I'm sure we all thought,
'That's it, they're now unstoppable and will just power through the league as Man City did, with trophy after trophy.'

After all, Chelsea were bought by Abramovich and did exactly that because of the immense finances available.

So it's quite nice to see, despite the odds, what an absolute mess Newcastle have made of it all.

When Newcastle came to the Championship SOL, with their team of internationals, Sunderland didn't even have a centre forward ...

... they turned up with a £60m striker worth ten times what our team cost.

Anyone claiming only a year later that Sunderland would be in the PL, Newcastle would've lost Isak and the gap between the clubs whittled away to the point whereby we can be confident against them would've been ridiculed. But Newcastle really are much less than they expected to be whereas we're much more.

I find it all quite funny.

And we didn’t sell our souls.
- Our club actively engages with fans.
- Respects our history, as shown by the magnificent murals at the SOL (Tommy sealed for me how much thought went into those)
- Club pins the cost of our kits to about 60% of most PL clubs
- Club has clear and fair rules and access to tickets (even if still a few gremlins)
- Club continues to support youth development
- Club allows talent to progress their careers elsewhere with realistic and respectful transfer out
- Club doesn’t burn through staff and alienate them

They can keep their Saudi trillions, template kits, and players who don’t wanna be there (Gordon…).

Wait until isak starts banging the goals in be floods of tears.

On holiday in Tenerife, our first day here. I kept getting not funny looks but side glances when this lad and his girlfriend walked past. Thought it was a bit strange but didn't really think about it until he turned up in the restaurant tonight in an away mag shirt! He must've clocked my Sunderland tattoo on my arm! <laugh>

It's coming round to matchday so I'm looking around for team news and whatever ...

... but find myself being lectured by Adam Pearson, a weirdo Mag who lives with his mam, about the wonderful Charlie Kirk <doh>

This is a total apologist who posts links to package trips to Saudi Arabia but ignores a journalist being butchered by the owners of his club.

There's an old bloke posting rants on our village Facebook group in support of Reform, wanting more England flags and a touch of homophobia about the pride rainbow flag. Michael Martin is tearing him a new one. I agree with MM. I feel dirty :emoticon-0111-blush

I didn't help matters by requesting a Sunderland AFC flag to be flown to commemorate the only Premier League team in historic County Durham like :emoticon-0102-bigsm
