After the organisers apology about the medals and t-shirts for this year's GNR, next year's medals have already been announced to avoid any embarrassment

This is bizarre. It's a private school in Dundee. Surely there are closer schools who would be grateful of Champions League tickets?

From memory I vaguely recall Saudi Arabia being the subject of an abuse study well before Newcastle were taken over.

It was actually at Dundee University, not the High School, but may be connected.

There's clearly a reason for this sportswashing, I'll get to work on it.

I only knew about it because I once did a job for a lad called Simon Cowe who was in the group Lindisfarne.

I recovered a debt for him and had to go to Fettes which was quite grand and intimidating ...

... funny how all these things are somehow entangled.

Been pretty quiet lately as trying to see what comes out in the wash regarding this.
My opinion is that the media and Newcastle have a very 1 sided view of this situation.
    1. If a club wants rid of a player they have to pay up the contract (or agree a beneficial move)
    2. If a player wises to leave a club again it is similar to above with regards to mutual agreement.
    3. If a club executive makes promises either verbal or written then in my opinion it should be delivered upon (Even if that official leaves the club as they were an agent of the club at time of said promise or agreement)
    4. This whole situation of calling players rats is totally uncalled for (its not like he is Jack Rodwell<laugh>)
    5. Wissa and Isak are both exactly the same so if you call one you must call both.
    6. Newcastle should have acted in a more professional way before the situation got out of hand.
    7. Isak reasons for leaving may be more politically based than monetary which for some reason nobody wants to talk about, especially every tv pundit or youtuber I have seen

I don't disagree mate, in truth the clubs themselves need to take a long hard look at their procedures and how to deal with these situations. As do the players and agents.
These things happen all too often (I remember Harry Kane a few years ago) and it is up to all parties to find an amicable solution in a timely manner.
I am sure in the past we have been guilty of similar (Kenwyn Jones springs to mind) and lately it looks like we are probably more supportive of a players needs to move whilst ensuring the deal is right for the club.
On the Isak move I really think he wanted to get away from the Saudi regime, as I think he could have easily taken a trip to Al Hilal or some other club owned by PIF if it was just about money, makes me think there is something else at play other than money.

There’ll be something dodgy going on. Interesting thing is they reckon they have 100,000+ on waiting lists for the lottery and then they pull this stunt! They’re all over the shop as a business when they should be focussed on milking them dry.

You're quite right with your thinking imo.

Isak could've easily negotiated a wage increase with Newcastle if that were the real issue ...

... it wouldn't surprise me if he's gone to Liverpool for the same package.

On facebook that yesterday a policeman pulled over a car - driver was banned with 20 points on licence - says he will get further ban and more points. Comments all saying that he'll just carry on.
But one (obviously obsessed mag) even uses this for his opportunity to be seen to be having a dig----

'' If it's any consolation at least he's got more points than Sunderland will have at the end of the season.''
