    Didn't their fans say it's a Mickey Mouse cup anyways when we played Man City in the final? Even if they do get a result it can't mean that much - although in reality we all know that won't be the case

    Well they are the same ones that say the Inter Cities Fairs Trade Cup is a major European trophy, despite UEFA not recognising it. It was so important that Ujpest Doza fielded their reserve team in the Sid James Park second leg of the final :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    <laugh>

    That's funny, whenever I ask a Mag to spell the name of the European giants they beat ...

    ... none of them can spell it either, you're closer than most.

    From memory they'd qualified for one round, because their opposition didn't turn up for the match!

    The team they beat in the semi-final, Goztepe, got there because their opposition didn't turn up for the match!

    Such an important competition teams just couldn't be bothered to play.

    They’ve already qualified that it’s a much bigger trophy now than it was when we got there so you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about!! <laugh><laugh>

    No mate, I could possibly ask to call a favour in from the bloke who runs the bus, but I’d be depriving a regular away match goer. Sick, but it doesn’t sit right with me.
    We’ll get stuffed anyway <laugh>
    Gone are the heady days of the Texaco cup, and Anglo Italian cup…..

    Never mind mate, I'm sure you'll enjoy it with a few drinks anyway <cheers>

    I visited my Mag family in Chopwell, on the drive back from the Sheff Wed, and they're excited but nervous ...

    ... one of them went to the 1955 final as a 15 year old, she's not going this time <laugh>

    I wish my brother in law a safe journey and a cracking time away up to the point the game starts and they get humped 6-0.

    Lads, lads just remember what Smug often says. We are so lucky to have the Mags as our "rivals". There is truly no other set of fans as moronic as NUFC's. We are blessed :emoticon-0102-bigsm
