Apparently Richard Masters also has a legally binding assurance the sky is pink and grass is blue.

They just can't talk it away.

They usually now retreat behind the PL and the hapless Richard Masters' " legally binding assurances"

But of course, these assurances may well not be worth the paper they are written on. Indeed they might not be written down on paper at all. If they are, just show them and lance the boil of questions.

No-one knows what they are, if they are anything, if they exist. It could have just been a few words, or no words.

And what would the PL do? Take the Saudi government to court!

But everyone does know this though: That club ceased to exist when it was subsumed by the Saudi state. And it was bad enough that it happened to an old established football club, but far worse that it was welcomed and celebrated in such a slavering, grovelling and embarrassing fashion.

 

But we were told by all those mags that it didn't matter cos Ashley was gone and they got their club back!

 

Ironically it was Boris Johnson and Richard Masters involved, hence the three word slogan 'legally binding assurances' ...

... just like 'get Brexit done' or 'stop the boats' it sounds profound but is totally meaningless.

Masters said it believing it would never come back to bite him on the arse or that Boris would always be there to hold his hand ... oops.

 

They'll just try and deflect it as usual by telling us we didn't care about human rights until the takeover etc etc

 

Just look at the comments on the article, defending the Saudis or lots of "whataboutism'. They'll just scream it louder and louder the more that PIF and the Saudis are put under the spotlight
