The EPL let in Abhu Dhabi , or at least to all intents and purposes, and after that they had no defence. They are amateur charlatans anyway, so wriggle room of any kind was manna from heaven to them.

Let us not forget that the Prem were okay before Abu Dhabi got involved, after all they okayed the Abramovich backed Chelsea takeover....and the former Thai Prime Minister Thaskin Shinawatra takeover of City, who well....was corrupt, and had his money frozen didn't he? That's why he had to sell City, and then Abu Dhabi were the takers...

Hilarious that Dubravka is cup-tied for them, but can win a medal, should Man United win the cup.

haha Karius is gonna start for them, and his last game he started for an English club?

The Champions League final for Liverpool, when the unfortunate happened....

Nice, gradual decline setting in at Castle Grayskull. Lose next weekend then slowly slide down the table and they'll be demanding Beheddie is sacked and replaced with Rafa

Howe actually made me laugh out loud with his post-match comments <laugh>

"It was probably technically handball but I don't know the rules on red cards outside the box."

People say 'technically' when they mean actually ...

... and how on earth can a highly paid PL manager not know the rules of the game ffs <doh>

Worrying thing for Eddie is that there is a fair chance it will happen.

Funnily enough, everyone inside the pub I was in post-match KNEW it was a red card

But then again why should we be surprised by Howe's myopia, although he DID tell us that football was his "specialised subject"

I'll give you a clue Eddie, if it was in the box it wouldn't have been a hand ball, muppet

That man is a babbling brook of rubbish.

Some of the rules ARE a bit opaque these says, especially as some are almost being re-written to accommodate VAR. But this one isn't. He prevented a clear goal scoring opportunity by commiting a foul. A simple red card.

You don't have to break someone's leg to break the rules

I used to have more interest in Newcastle but they just don't feel they're a NE club anymore. The banter berween me and my Mag relatives has all but dried up, the whole thing just feels a bit fake.

Still I'll raise a smile if Spurs win today and knock them out of the CL places I expect.

I feel a lot of their proper supporters that I've grown up with and had banter with for years feel a bit uncomfortable with things with the club, yes they are happy they are doing well and going to Wembley but the banter isn't like what it was under keegan.
It's as if they are slightly embarrassed, where as the younger generation are just clueless and spout their ****e on social media daily
