    I laugh also at the blokes on the shop floor at work, all Newcastle fans. Up until a year ago any mention of the Qatar World Cup would be met with howls of disgust and apathy. Now when I bring it up they sit in silence, maybe a sheepishly slight nod, obviously too scared to show their undoubted hypocrisy.

    woodwork will be failing all over the place with that lot emerging from it recently.

    i mean, we were bad during our final seasons in the premier and our 'fall from grace' but we could always be seen posting and making comments about our team yet that lot just go completely silent until they go on a bit of a good run... it comes across as ' well they are winning now so i don't mind showing others who i *support*' and that unfrotunately sums up the majority of them.

    (*support* as in, as long as we are winning and spending some money)
