Have just seen the penalty they got! Twitter would be going absolutely mental with their fans if that was against them. Yet they all think it was stonewall
The current 'Handball' Law is more complex than it needs to be, but according to that rule, the playbacks including the one that The Ref would have been advised to look at, showed it to be a Penalty. I wonder if Our Friends to the North will be advising the Bournemouth Fans to bombard Parliament with petitions to get the result reversed?
They would be top of the league if it wasn't for everyone being against them! I haven't been watching mutch like but saw one bad decision go against them. That disallowed goal the same week as the villa and west ham ones.
They said (before yesterday) every game except one. I asked which one, then reference 4 different games where VAR has gained them points. They put some childish thing on instead of having a debate!!
On the radio last night, there was fans phoning in suggesting they should make a move for Tuchel while he's available. Thought they loved Howe, now they want a manager to replace him who will only go to a team challenging in the Champions League.
Don’t believe that for a second. He will go to a team offering him ££££££££££ too. It was obvious what would happen after a poor run of results.
It's incredible how the richest club in the entire world can bemoan things being unfair. The lack of awareness is staggering.
there was no real difference between that handball and the one in our game, what direction the ball takes after striking the hand does not matter...my point was that it cannot have been a 'clear and obvious' error as none of the officials saw it and VAR could not conclude it so the ref got the benefit of slow motion replays. i agree they have messed with the hand ball rule to the point that no one actually knows if it was a hand ball until the ref decides, what is 'clear and obvious' is that there are problems between what the on field ref deems an offence and what the VAR ref deems an offence, cant remember which game it was now but i saw two different 'stills' from a possible offside, one showed it to be extremely tight yet the next one showed he was a clear few inches onside..there was one the other week where VAR could not work out where to draw those lines, common sense needs to prevail here if it is that tight then award the goal even if technically the man was offside by mm's.
Ive seen them moaning that they didn't spend enough in the window. If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times....I'd rather watch us build something from nothing than be a spoiled, deluded mag moaning that we haven't spent enough blood money. **** the mags, murderers
One win so far this season, on the opening day against a newly promoted team who currently are second bottom with only one win and have taken a few dispiriting defeats themselves. Because of the international break its one win in the opening two months of the season and though the next two games are "winnable" (in their minds) against Fulham and Brentford, if they don't win them it'll be one win in the opening quarter of the league season, enough for any other club to have been said to have has a disappointing start, but it would be an awful return o n a £120 million spend, the second highest in the league. Long may it continue!
Newcastle have scored 8 goals this season. Brighton 11 goals, Fulham 12 and Brentford 15 all above them with Welbeck, Mitrovic and Toney ... ... meanwhile, the team at the bottom have scored more than Newcastle, just saying
Including their bench, and depending on which valuation you take, yesterday, that lot had between £320m and £360m with strips on. That is not counting agent's fees and signing on fees. Clearly they haven't spent enough. They are like children who have become sick of their latest toy and, want another NOW!!!! Or they'll scream and scweam.
It's all a conspiracy man - did you not know? The Premier League, the top six, referees, and even VAR are rigged against them
When you think that Almiron, Joelinton, Bruno, Botman and Isak have all been signed since January 2019, that's around £200 million spent on them alone in 3 years and not counting the others brought in or the agents and signing on fees, are they really spending money wisely? Everton spent about £600 million and are now in a mess, look at the way we wasted money upto 2017 (smaller amount, I know but proportionally that 6 or 7 year period is comparable). You can have all the money in the world, but it's no good if you waste it. The Saudis might have deep pockets, but I can imagine they'll get bored if money is wasted and there's no results to show for it. And then what? It's been rumoured for a while that the Qataris are frustrated with the lack of returns they have at PSG with not much success in the Champions league. The same could easily happen to the mags if they don't pull up any trees as sportswashing only really works if you're successful.
That's a truly bizzare theory isn't ... so narrow minded. Everton have committed to a new stadium, spent huge amounts and appointed big name managers. West Ham moved to a new stadium, spent huge amounts and appointed a big name manager. Leicester built a new stadium, spent huge amounts and appointed a big name manager then actually won the PL. So why the f**k would the PL specifically single out Newcastle and find ways to stop them attempting to progress ... ... it's so ridiculous only the Mags are so deluded that they could believe it.
