Only ask cos an old bloke was telling us the tale today and then a few Sunderland fans came up to him and to say well done but were slightly annoyed as he beat them to it.
Knob end Mag at work today claimed that next year's it's champions League places and a cup win or the season will be a failure
They’ll sign all the greedy gets that the top teams don’t want, I can think of 5 teams that’ll finish ahead of them so that just leaves 1 place to fight for
It's exactly this kind of entitlement and ego that makes us dislike them so much. And also proves that if things don't turn out as they demand that theyll turn on msnagets/owners etc.
everything about that take over stinks...and i dare bet there is more that will never see the light of day and you have to wonder just why it is so important to keep the saudi's on side when other countries can simply be invaded on a whim.
The answer is oil and the old "it's better to have them inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in". They can use their oil wealth to intimidate smaller, weaker countries, as they're already doing in Yeman, or use it to fund international terrorism like Lybia and Iran. Move away from oil dependency and you will probably see a big change in attitude towards them
i used to think that but there are so many better and greener alternatives (and i do not mean electricity) that have simply been brushed under carpets over the years. i now think...it is a hot country and some really nice resorts have been built, great place for a free holiday and swelling bank balances...but yep, as they are so rich they could easily cause worldwide disruption in so many ways yet appear unconnected. i honestly, truly despise greed.
Any signs of the money they apparently would invest in the region. Cost of a bit of Dulux on the Tyne bridge would be loose change to them
Boris Johnson’s government worked for months to encourage the Premier League to approve the controversial Saudi Arabia-backed takeover of Newcastle United. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-league-to-approve-saudi-newcastle-takeover
****e bump but a few tweets would suggest that 'Albert' the older Mag caller has passed away. If so, RIP Albert, knew his footy tbf. Condolences to his family.
One of the few on that programme worth listening too imo., no expected goals from Albert just good old common sense, his banter with Juun Anderson was a delight. RIP Albert you will be missed, condolences to his family and friends.
I would of liked to have Was he hanging around mens toilets ? Seems to be a pastime of theirs https://www.not606.com/threads/bog-watch.400970/
Oh my god! Here we have a twitter twat, slagging off Sunderland fans, then saying the rivalry is gone!!!!
