    I like the Sayers traditional pasties but they are so small nowadays FFS.
    Just a few bites, or a mouthful if yer a mag ;)

    Think they're only in the North West.
    They're on a par with Greggs.

    I was always Peter’s when it was around. Although “Peter” from Peter's cathedral bakers is my uncle so that might be the main reason. Loved the meat and potato pasties.

    Was that Peters in a corner pie shop in one of the streets behind The Roker End, I used to go there full of ale before the match.

    Not sure. Think that was called the Roker pie shop. Peter’s are now Cooplands. Been taken over quite a lot of years ago now

    Greggs steak bakes should be called gravy slop bakes. A couple of tiny morsels of meat is nothing like the photos they use of great lumps of steak falling out the pastry. How trading standards allow the photos I don’t know

    It was definitely called Peters and this was in the early 90s, it closed before Roker did so dunno if it’s the same fella that owned it,it was nice either way.
