Know what you mean mate as we had the game won until nearly the last kick. BUT.....i dont think anyone shpuld be disappointed with yesterdays result, think this is perfectly fitting to be posted on this thread for 'anyone' who may lurk. We are were we are, L1, we now have owners with a clear plan for the club from top to bottom, while running the club they wont be getting on with their alarming day job of ordering beheadings, kidnapping, stoning, stoning women who have been rapped, throwing homosexuals off the top of buildings, planning to bomb kids in other countries. Everyone can have a safe nights sleep knowing they have not sold their morals, if thay had any, to attempt to get a bit of success for a football team they love. I love sunderland & i love living in the UK, i hope the UK build & build, progressing in the world, although I would not want or expect this to be at the expense of human life or human rights, etc etc & dont expect the UK to go back hundreds of years trying to take over the world. eg if german i would not have supported hitler, although i do respect those living in those countries at that time it is easier said than done as they are probably simply trying to remain alive. the past cant be changed but it can be learnt from, eg the Saudis are not & this is now so those supporting or conveniently turn a blind eye but didnt to ashleys zero hour contracts really really are the dregs & are very unlikely to ever have had morals Anyway back to the game, Wycombe is not an easy place to go, before anyone cringes, we are where we are, lets put our reality SAFC heads on & how we deal, we were playing mackem level competition & i doubt considering a defeat putting a full side out to a side 11 places below the mackem level competition we played might there be a few smart arse comments we got this game played, which we could have had called off by recalling young lads & a young keeper who had a cracking game. we were poor first half despite scoring very good goals, but some of the football we played second half was outstanding, we are building from the bottom an exciting young side with a few older heads & few 'rebuilding' projects Couple more players in....I hope we go up....we need to...football doesnt work like that....same way its doesnt throwing money at it...we have to a certain extend before....no matter what.....WE, US, ALL OF US have OUR club back & WE are going to enjoy this ride...those can laugh as much as they want as we battle put of (not my opinion) a pub league mackem level competition....many of us have see this before & im excited to see i again, a young side a bit like reid assembled but kick on after as a background plan exists....KTF as were going to kick on second half football yestersay showed that....enjoy the right while OUR conscious is clear...WERE Sunderland till we die
If it really is true that anyone other than the manager , or in some cases the captain, gave a bollocking in the dressing room, there is trouble ahead. This would immediately diminish Howe's authority, and would have everyone at the place terrified of getting an invitation to an embassy dinner.
Good points mate. If we dropped points against Cambridge I'd have been more upset yesterday ... ... this was a good away point and three good team goals well finished.
Yep. They had the first half no doubt. Our control was slightly off and they were picking up almost all of the second balls, which there are a lot of when Wycombe play. More composure on the ball in the second half though and we looked miles better and should have scored at least two before the third went in. But in the circumstances especially, it was a good point. We keep playing like that and it's up to others to stop us, and most won't be able to IMO.
It's been revealed that there was another person seen in Newcastle's dressing room along with the new owners
Burnley are one of their main relegation rivals and have just been taken over ... ... I really can't see them selling to Newcastle. They'd be better off with that Scottish kid that got another hat trick yesterday.
I have some words for them and took ages to write them all out ... ... the post came up blank and I got a message saying 'Please enter a valid message.'
Hang on a minute. They're all crying about getting banned off here yet bragging they don't ban anyone
What the **** is it they hope to achieve by disseminating such crap? Do they have no sense of shame, or more to the point do they not have the pride and self respect to stop them showing how ridiculous they are? Adults usually have a trigger that stops them from showing themselves up. Kids don't. Do they basically not "grow up" like the 99.9% of people who don't support NUFC? Definitely something missing with them.
There must be some strong drugs gettin smuggled up the Tyne. I know these inbred fookers are weird but fook sake
I hold my hands up at not being able to spell, probably dyslexic....however i would check before i painted something on items or got a tattoo etc...with their ability not to spell....or have the common sense....likely because their thick as **** to think to check.... only a matter of time before we see a shirt with a terrorist organisation written on it or something else which deeply offends someone. Wonder if it was printed on by someone on a zero hour contract in sports direct....ahem
you know what, there simply must be some 'decent' mags but all the ones i have met have been dickheads, i was going to use 'geordies' but i know quite a lot of our own fans are happy to call themselves geordies...most if not all have had an arrogant, superiority about them and as has been said many times they really do think of themselves as 'better' than everyone else and this leads to the examples that have been posted over and over in this thread, childish stupidity and the misguided belief that everyone else is jealous of them and that whatever they choose to do be it a protest, a song they made up, fancy dress, a mix of all three even is cheered and welcomed by all other mags added to the complete failure to admit they might be wrong at any point and this is why they keep on being 'the gift that keeps giving'. talking to one last night and he is absolutely convinced things can only improve, having rich owners does not always work as many clubs will testify and i asked him what he expected with the take over and happily pointed out that although they had months in which to prepare they walk into the job and struggle to get a manager, a DoF, a list of players even, in fact the only thing they have going for them right now is that they are somehow still in with a decent shot at 'safety', if they somehow manage to feck that up the whole lot of them need to go away and have a complete rethink about what they want, forget europe and winning cups in the next couple of years, they need a solid base and steady growth.
