No doubt var has " cheated us again".

My lad has told me that, including subs, they had not far short of £200m on the park, against a team that probably cost less than £500k.

A shameful defeat that, and one you very rarely see these days, because of the huge and increasing disparity in incomes.

Mind, Arsenal have spent over £600m in four years to stay where they are. Everton have spent over £500m in six years to stay where they are.

And they both had good teams to start with.

Not that easy this splurging money about, even when it isn't the type of blood money the murderers have to spend.

So...basically in a week where they 'had' to call off two premier league games due to a covid outbreak (presume 'outbreak' as if only a couple of isolated cases they would still have been able to field a team + subs) plus those sudden, unexpected no contact calf injuries that were picked up, when a league one club visit for a cup game there is a somewhat miraculous recovery.

FA really need to look into teams calling games off, only those players who were covid positive are eligible to play the re-scheduled game, not those who would have been injured and no new signings...and points deduction in cases such as these where a team can suddenly put an all but 'full strength' side out.

EDIT: i should also add (in case any of them have a look in here) we actually recalled lads from loans so we could make sure we played our game today, would have been easy to just apply to get it called off...

Listening to the commentator, you don’t realise what a superb player Trippier is until you watch him live, you will see the difference he makes to this team. Newcastle 0-1 Cambridge <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Must be annoying for them to be so full of themselves and yet no matter what happens everyone laughs at them.

It is the very fact that they are so full of themselves that makes them a laughing stock.
