I thought the blokes shouting about zero hour contracts then ignoring the murder of a journalist were hypocrites but this bloke is om another level. He might surprise us and condemn the new lot but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Ashley doesn't put money in let's dig up whatever we can find against him.

Saudis make us richest club in the world I don't give a **** what they do I'm off to find some sand.

The more I hear about it the less I believe that PIF are going to really go for it with Newcastle. I think it could have been the case but they've been put off.

If they buy a Serie A club, which it looks like they may do, then I'd be worried if I was a Newcastle fan.

Staveley has said Serie A is a no go, apparently.

Football supporters can be excused for wanting the possibilities money brings but we're losing our game.

KLD is a decent bloke and his family are steeped in football but I's still prefer British clubs to be owned by British people.

The top clubs win the league with foreign owners, managers, players and supporters.

Go in the home section at Spurs, Arsenal, West Ham and it's the United Nations. endless tourists with brand new club shirts.

The game might be 'better' now with nice grounds and proper toilets but it's slowly slipping away from us.

If a European Super League ever happens then it's gone for good ...

... like the Afghans left at the airport we'll be staring at the last plane and wondering what's going to happen to us.

The football family we thought we were part of will have moved house without leaving a forwarding address.

"Newcastle is not the first club to be taken over by a state with an extremely questionable human rights record. Newcastle can rightly point out that if Abu Dhabi was allowed to buy Manchester City, there is no reason to stop the Saudis. The bigger issue is that no states should be permitted to own clubs, and that funnelling ownership through a sovereign wealth fund shouldn’t be an easy workaround. And questions can be asked, too, about those clubs run by oligarchs. But what is shocking is how routine this feels, yet another venerable British institution sold off to an effectively unaccountable foreign investor, any ethical concerns forgotten."

I see they’re asking two 21 yr old Burnley players to join them for double their wages. Mercenaries spring to mind.

    Breaking News - BBC

A Saudi man suspected of involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi has been arrested in France, reports say.

Khaled Aedh Alotaibi was arrested at Charles-de-Gaulle airport on Tuesday, French media report.

He is one of 26 Saudis wanted by Turkey over the journalist's killing.

The 33-year-old former Saudi royal guard was travelling under his own name and was placed in judicial detention, RTL radio said.

Khashoggi, a prominent critic of the government in Riyadh, was murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018.

Perhaps he was in Paris looking for a Director of Football.

And? Players generally move from club to club and part of those deals are that they end up on more money….a bit like how it mostly works in the real world, especially if you’re “in demand”. I’d find it hard to believe that we would instantly bring two players in who are on more money than every single one of our current players but I may be wrong of course. Not sure how that would make them mercenaries like…hardly in the same bracket as Jack Grealish. We’re all getting used to everything NUFC being twisted by your tiny little ****ing minds on this embarrassing thread but we’ll keep popping in for ****s and giggles rest assured, keep em coming lads! Pleased about your result last night if I’m honest, it’ll keep LJ in the job for a little while longer and when he finally gets the bullet when you plummet out of the play off places it’ll be too late for Sewper Kev to save ya!!!
