The Mags are simply making it funnier with their behaviour. There were some people who sympathised with them but they've thrown all that away and they're really isolated now. The more they shout the worse they look.
I wonder how many mags are Wahhabists. Not looking good for the ones who aren't. Imagine knowing that KLD thought we were pieces of ****. It'd be weird to say the least.
I don't think they've got a fecking clue what the plan is mate. Spend as much money as possible isn't a plan.
Advertisers at SJP and Corporate box holders may well wish to review their continued association with NUFC and their new owners.
There are some genuine Newcastle 'corporate' supporters who are conflicted with this situation. Giving money to the Saudi state isn't easy if you have a company that extolls the virtues of acceptance and inclusion. If there were vague rumours of beheadings, torture, mutilation and exclusion it would be easier ... ... but these things are as much part of Saudi law as community service is in the UK. Sadly a 'suspended sentence' has totally different connotations in the two countries.
This article explains a lot, I'm sure the lurking Mags would find it interesting ... ... I hadn't realised Benitez turned Newcastle down before they settled for Howe. By Guillem Balague BBC Sport 8 hours ago. "They eventually landed on Howe, of course, but via a circuitous route. Staveley subsequently spoke of the former Bournemouth manager being "the perfect fit". But he was not the first choice. That was Rafael Benitez - but it quickly became clear he would not leave Everton. It was an embarrassing turn of events for Newcastle's new owners but indicative of what could generously be described as a naïve approach, or less charitably characterised as a lack of understanding of how these processes take place. The role of Lee Charnley, managing director under Ashley, is also causing some confusion. Why was he on video calls with candidates or their representatives when his own role was - and still is - unclear? Why has no new chief executive been appointed? The answer to the first question, at least, is that Charnley remains in position and is hopeful of staying on. And that is illustrative of one of the problems the club are facing. There is an old structure which needs to be reviewed and, potentially, dismantled, at the same time as a new one is implemented. All the while business continues, games are played, January's transfer window looms." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59225679
That's exactly what I mentioned earlier on in the thread. The sponsorship deals at Yorkshire cricket have all been pulled and they have been stripped of hosting international cricket due to the racism row that's ongoing. The mags have hosted some sort of rugby event in the past as well I think. All of which may get pulled in the future. Looks like the SoL will he safe for music gigs as well imo, can't imagine artists wanting to be associated with the place at all.
But I thought Rafa "gets" the club and "loves the area and the fans" etc etc? Wonder if this will stop them shooting in their pants every time he is mentioned in the press?
gets paid out 100,000 claiming racism out of certain words beginning with P........ yet still went back for a second spell years later and even invited the captain to his wedding, and yet him and his fellow team mates had no problems within their own peers, seems 2 faced to me and only for a payout.Azim rafiq now says he was pinned down and forced to drink wine please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Yet they're so naïve they're claiming Staveley 'gets them' now. Benitez went there for the money, (Not Ashley.) stayed for the money, (Not the supporters.) and left for the money. (Not the Chinese project.) Howe isn't there for the love of Newcastle, the North or 'the project ... ... it's the blood money.
