TBH, if I was Staveley I'd have had an envelope ready for Bruce and another for Graeme Jones. I'd have pre-empted the tea-towel wearing and decided whether it was a good thing or a bad thing. I'd have made sure the so-called chairman was actually made a director. I'd have already approached and agreed a Director of Football. I'd have already lined up a manager and staff. I'd have anyone but me/Staveley as the face of the club. It's an absolute shyte show tbh.
One of two things will now happen. A) Staveley will be pushed out and a new face of the club announced. B) Staveley will remain as the face of the club. Options A and B will be a PR disaster for NUFC.
The Mags, Staveley and their insect overlords all expected this to have all died down by now ... ...in reality it's only just the start. The Mags love social media and believe they rule it, oh dear legal action upcoming.
All the mags are doing by there constant defending of anything Saudi is to keep the Saudis horrific human rights record in the spotlight. The more they stamp their feet the more scrutiny will be put on their murderous new owners
I agree with everything you say, except ... ... nothing the Mags do, or don't do, will make any difference. The Saudis, as their law demands, behead, torture and mutilate people. There's no talking your way out of that shyte.
This. Asking the Saudis to confirm to the norms of accepted decency and civilised conduct would be like asking a noisy dog to stop barking. It won't, it can't. They won't, they can't.
That's exactly what they believe they already have tbh. To be fair I have no problem with that, as long as they stick to their own country and don't try to mix with decent people.
I have to hand it to RTG tbh. They've systematically destroyed the official, and unofficial, Saudi apparatus like they're nowt. The Mags, who'd been on there 24/7, have vanished and showed themselves up as the cowards they are. It's now become funny again and as entertaining as the Moaty & Gazza extravaganza I'm certain at least one Mag will end up in court.
A lad over there saying he has contacted Panorama and they are already monitoring the situation. That MP on Twitter sounds pretty pissed of as well.
The Mags have become so used to shouting at shops, unfurling banners and having funeral parades in the streets with impunity ... ... they don't realise that defamatory remarks can result in court proceedings. Accusing an MP of fraud isn't big or clever if you're relying on the word of a Saudi plant. They can escape proceedings but those with a UK address are liable.
