Before their takeover I was hoping it wasnt going to happen. The town supporters indulging in success? Insufferable! Now it has happened, and as time seems to go on, and as the Saudi takeover has generated more exposure to its naughty deeds, I am quite content to watch whatever their 'bright' future throws at us. Safe in the knowledge that they will always have a massive shadow hanging over any success they achieve.

 

Because Ashley has left their club, they've become rich and have their club back. Nothing left to say from them

 

What they can't seem to grasp is that NUFC has now become a focal point for protest groups, it's quite natural.

This van wouldn't have been driven around the town before the takeover, now it is.

Why do they refuse to understand such an obvious point I wonder ....

What a position he, and they are in.

If they stay silent they will be rightly, loudly and eternally ridiculed as virtue signalling hypocrites.

If they meant what they said in the past, ( not just Miles here mind) then they must openly and clearly criticise the medieval regime which has stolen their club.

I can honestly say, on the life of my family, that if it was me, it would be the latter.

 

If the players don't like it they should perform better .

There's an idea that Newcastle are about to become the next Man City.

Based on the manager they've appointed I think they're more likely to become the next Man Utd.

United have appointed the wrong managers, bought the wrong players and created a gap between the club and supporters which at one time unthinkable.

Howe is obviously not a top manager, and will be replaced before the end of his contract, so not the brave new world the Mags expected. A second managerial disaster and that's 3 or 4 years down the pan. Unless they appoint someone to make football decisions it's all down to Amanda Staveley

Seem to recall him putting his failure at Burnley as being attributable to him being out of his comfort zone by being up NORTH as being down SOUTH like he was used to , bet he failed his geography exams !

 

You need to see things from her perspectives....

 

Obviously long long way to go, they might go on to do well this season.....but everyone does realise that with the more & more noise in the press, protests & disgust from other clubs & supporters if the were to be relegated it would be completely not their fault & totally the cause of everyone else.
