I think your next 3 home games results will be a massive factor in wether you stay up or not

    Brentford
    Norwich
    Burnley
If you don't pick up at least 2 wins I honestly believe you will go down
Because your fixtures in December and early January are horrific and if you are still in single figures points wise by the time you start those December fixtures then even Houdini couldn't keep you up

Moyes is arguably a better manager than Howe but came into a club with a poor squad and a weak mentality ...

... bringing the wrong man into a relegation battle can be fatal as they found out.

Newcastle, then, weren't in such a serious situation but Benitez managed to take them down.

No it doesn't. It started eleven games ago and it isn't going well.

Reality will set in between now and end of Jan when they can't sign anyone decent and questions start to be asked about the ambitions of the owners

The season started when Bruce was sacked but then they were still shyte ...

... now they'll have to start the season all over again.

The next new start will be January when the desperation signings arrive <laugh>

I’ve had our lass through to scum land tonight at the Steps concert… Quite awkward when one of their singers started an emotional speech about being himself and living his best life no matter what… Don’t let the latest owners in town know, lad. Your head will be gone.

But in your last post you were on about being set to win things. Did you mean the Championship title?

A classic case of 'getting your excuses in early'.

"We don't care if we're relegated because it just delays the PL title by a season." <laugh>

I watched look north and Tyne tees news earlier, and both channels had fan reactions to the Howe appointment.
Talk about fake excitement, it was quite funny really. In truth they are gutted...they were expecting someone way more high profile than Howe, who in reality is an Ashley type appointment.

    Reminds me of this....

A scene from Only Fools and Horses...

Cassandra – Well, you now those posters you put in the pub windows with "The Séance" and the ghostly face?

    Del – Yeah, yeah.

Cassandra – Well a lot of people got the wrong impression. They thought "The Séance" was a group.

Rodney – The place was packed with punk rockers. There was Special Brew everywhere, people shouting ‘Aceed’, all that.

Cassandra – They were expecting to see an ‘Iron Maiden’-type band.

Rodney – Then Elsie Partridge walked out in her hat.

Is it true that the real reason it took NUFC so long to appoint a new manager has not had anything to do with desired staff realising that some stains cannot be sportswashed from a person's CV, but rather is entirely down to PIF sending out the wrong head coach job specification?

I can’t wait for the media to turn, there’s been a few rumblings from a couple of journalists but as we know the media and tabloids journalists in this country are the worst. Great at getting you at the top but the absolute bastards on bringing you back down. Let’s hope we don’t wait too long
