It is almost unbelievable how quickly their fanzines can change their tune, and their sportswashed fans for that matter.

A few weeks ago it was Klopp and Mbappe, now it's Howe, Dickman and anyone who's willing to sign

Where did I say the new City regime appointed him?

He was there 2 months before the take over and they bankrolled him and kept him there for a year and a half after the take over.

My point was they started with a similar lower profile manager when the money came in.

If Ashley had replaced Benitez with Howe you lot would've had the bedsheets out ...

... it's only because he's replacing Bruce that you can stomach it at all.

Howe would have been a step down after Benitez, no doubt about that, and I would rather have Benitez right now, as I defensive couch like him is really what you need in a relegation battle.

We can only think of where we are right now, and Howe is a clear improvement on Bruce, and his record at Bournemouth is not to be sniffed at. Everyone's OK with this appointment, a stark contrast to the universal derision when Bruce was appointed.

His win ratio in his second spell at Bournemouth was around 40%, which isn't great since it included a season in League one and the Championship. He left the club after he got them relegated. It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself, not just us

Second spell was 2012 to 2020 and 5 years of that were in the Prem where obviously his ratio would be lower. Getting a small club from league 1 to the Prem in 3 years then keeping them there for 5 years is a big success.

As for a 40% win ratio, that would keep us up, and it'd be higher than that of Bruce.

Howes win % after 545 games is 41.83% and that includes league 2, 1 and the championship.
Bruces win % after 1000 games is 37.6% which are all in the Premier league or chamionship

More concerning is that Howe has a 37.2% loss record slightly higher than Bruce at 37%

"they talk about us selling our souls to the Saud's
yet these bastards sold their souls to the Scots 400 years ago
that didn't work out well as they are still in England "

    :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0140-rofl: WTF?
Is he talking about the Civil War when the mackems (parliamentarians) and the Scots defeated the Marquess of Newcastle at Marston Moor and then took Newcastle by storm and the soft ****es surrendered?
It was nothing about not wanting to be in England as it was the ENGLISH Civil war

And then what, went back to Bournemouth and took them from League One to the Prem in 3 years and kept them there for 5 years?

Burnley wasn't his best time, but I'm struggling to see how it was a "debacle", finished 8th and 13th there in 2 seasons, hardly a crisis.
