Isn't most trophies at football mainly bought or do clubs only do free transfers.??

The majority of clubs managed to generate their own money to buy players good enough to win trophies. To allow a state to use the state’s money to buy players as well as using the clubs own money isn’t really competing fairly, so anything won is tainted, but I think you already knew that.

 

Assuming he’s appointed we’ll have to wait and see but we’re not really comparing apples and apples are we now?

One regime, basically a dictatorship with absolutely no regard for human rights, the other our yet to be proven new owners.

In all seriousness tho, it really is like night and day. Gonna be an interesting time ahead that’s for sure…I’m not 100% convinced we have the right man for the job but it took city a few goes but I don’t really wanna start drawing comparisons with them if I’m honest!!
