My money is on High Gosforth Park (Newcastle Race Course), still in Newcastle City and crucially owned by the Reuben Brothers. SJP a prime city centre development site and mega bucks can be made from it.
If you are thinking of Northumberland Golf Club that would probably be untouched by any stadium development being within the Race Course. Parklands Golf Club and Driving Range in my opinion are the more likely to be part of the development site.
Yeah there are an awful lot of bigwigs in that golf club, even loads of money might not hold sway. Although I now believe Jews are allowed membership!!!!
I'm no fan of the Mags or their takeover but but I find this vote by the Premier league clubs the absolute height of hypocrisy. It will go nowhere. If an investigation was carried out properly then half the clubs in the Premier would have their sponsorship deals scuppered Man City sponsored by Etihad owned by Abu Dhabi . Kingpower sponsor Leicester's stadium. They also pump money into the Thai tourism group who are their main sponsors. You probably don't have to dig very deep to find links with other owners and sponsors. A lot of posturing by the big clubs but they need to be careful what they wish for because none of them are squeaky clean.
Tough game for the muppets on Saturday at Palace who’re playing some decent stuff under Vieira. Unlucky not to beat Arsenal last night. Looking at the table and the upcoming fixtures, they really need a win at the weekend. A draw wouldn’t be any good with Chelsea (H) and Brighton (A) to follow after that.
Their games around Christmas are really bad news for them ... ... they'll need to beat the likes of Norwich and Burnley, before then, otherwise they're in real bother. Fail to pull away from the relegation zone and they're signing no one in January.
Palace are just starting to click Can’t bloody stand them as a team or club (probably going back to Malcolm Allison era) but veira has them playing some front foot attacking football. I fancy them to give the mags a good hiding
unconfirmed reports that cabbage heed has gone and their superstar replacement is ............eddie howe
The criticism of the deal keeps coming and people are taking offence at their silly costumes BBC News - Newcastle United: Fans welcoming Saudis 'a sickness' MP says https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-58972424
Wolves' owners like to have their 'FOSUN Group' or things linked to it sponsor their club as well. So, with all due respect, why shouldn't Newcastle's new owners be allowed to do the same?
Their previous, reluctant, owner, was allowed to sponsor The Club and even change the name of the ground to that of his Organisation, without any complaints, except from the NUFC Fans. What comes around etc.
Just sounds like sour grapes a little, as much as I want this to fail, why block something and for such a short time? Ha
Just nearly pissed my self laughing. But that could change if he beats out the undoubtedly prestigious competition to lead the St James' Park side into a rich new era.
