It blows my mind that they don’t see how offensive to their new owners it is to put a ****ing tea towel on their heads and absolutely disrespect their religion and culture. Never seen any of us rocking up at the SOL yodelling and eating a bowl of muesli. I’ve spoken to a fair few of them today at work to be fair and most find it embarrassing, most are actually realistic about what’s gonna happen there and all were a bit kissed off about the booing and Bruce chants saying a lot in the stadium tried to quash it on such a momentous day. None of them wanna engage when asked how they feel about having folk who smuggled a weapon into their country with the specific sim of murdering someone in a certain and particularly gruesome way like.
I was actually thinking the very same thing, what you wrote in your first paragraph, I bet they are thinking Oh! now I know why they are called scum by other fans.
Got to agree it's odd to think that is appropriate. The tea towel is bad enough but it's the ones in the black and white robe (google reckons it's called a thawb in Saudi) is a joke. I don't want to stick up for them but I reckon every club in the country would have the odd few do the same.
They're so desperate to be seen as great passionate supporters that it'll kill them when people turn on them.
I would imagine the Saudi people being very offended seeing some NUFC goons dressed up like they were, with bottles of brown ale in one hand, supposedly showing there support for the new regime, but actually insulting them on religious and cultural grounds. Some first impression to the start of a beautiful friendship. They complement each other perfectly. A match made in Hebburn.
Don’t slate Hebburn mind, goldmine for birds reckon I’ve easily dated 8-10 Hebburn lasses. Am fond of Hebburn
The way this is being handled is crass in the extreme. If I was Bruce I'd ask for my pay off in cash then take an open topped bus round Newcastle hoying twenties off ... ... it would cost a few quid but worth it to see the Mags scrambling on the floor for them.
I’m sure you saw my post on Facebook, not one mag friend I have commented, I suppose that’s why they are friends because they are embarrassed and not particularly fond of who has taken over, if that’s in fact what it is, murdering terrorists who have probably given the Fa a bung

2 leagues below, £316billikn behind, and still we get to laugh and take the moral high ground. Magnificent.
The supporters of the club just keep giving! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...-wearing-tea-towels-tribute-Saudi-owners.html
