Given that he never shuts up about how well he did here and how our fans gave him a hard time, It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say about how well he's done there and their fans treatment of him.
He was well treated 95% of the time and only got stick when we turned to real shyte. The welcome he received was ten times what he got from Newcastle.
This is exactly the case. He was lost, looking for a way out and got it. But it is his revisionist view of his time here , eagerly promoted by a pliant, simplistic and compromised media, that lost him.any respect
It's a strange one because they don't own St James Park, just the stadium. If they left they'd cop the bill for demolishing it and returning the land as they found it. I'd love to see it knocked down, the Sunderland lads had a few tries in the past but never managed it.
The commentator, yesterday, said there would be loads of clubs who'd take him on. FFS man, based on what ... ... his endless sackings and walk outs. He ran away from Palace and Sheff Wed for the money, switched clubs in the same city and never accepts the blame for a single thing. I don't believe he'll manage in the PL ever again, he's a fraud and less likeable by the year.
Spot on mate, but he doesn't seem to remember that. At the end, given our form from the January to the November, and the fact we lost to Wigan, what did he expect our reaction to be?
They've got more chance of getting Dick Emery than landing Unai. At least his catchphrase would be apt. "Ooh, they are awful"
Hi mate, I took your advice and ignored this for a while but I've weakened. Sorry but it's all too funny and yesterday just showed the whole thing up for the farce it is. I was absolutely staggered at just how low some of these people can go ... ... parading under the statue of Robson* waving Saudi flags wearing tea towels. I wonder what he'd have thought. *Sir Bobby is a member of the Show Racism the Red Card Hall of Fame."
When they showed his 1000 games it was almost cringeworthy they were talking as if it was a badge of honour. Even though those games are with 10 or more clubs and one if them (us) was 229 games. So he, on average, manages 2 seasons at a club. And that’s being generous as most he hasn’t managed that!
Even the missus who has no interest most of the time in football thought they looked absolutely idiotic wearing them
The thought crossed my mind, watching yesterday, that the owners hung Bruce out to dry knowing they'd likely lose to Spurs. Will they now 'respect the wishes of the fans' and sack him.
