That 50 million won't go far will it. Be interesting to see how much Ashley spent last season compared to how much the towel head overlords spend

Yes I know, but I was talking about the club and not the fans.

To be fair she's a clever woman ...

... even found time to record the new 'run out' music for SJP.

Ashley was hailed in exactly the same way when he arrived ...

.... they were all over the forums telling us how great he was and how rich.

We could have shouted from rooftops about how great and rich KLD was, and that we were going to win everything 'cos of our new found wealth, but we didn't :emoticon-0145-shake

    It's about class, I think :emoticon-0148-yes:

I watched the game yesterday and they were took apart by an ordinary Spurs side who really didn't get out of 2nd gear. They look like a squad headed for the drop... and thats my point, even with all the cash, re building from the Championship is not easy, No doubt in time with the funds they have they will be back and successful, but if they go down it may take a while for that to happen

It certainly wasn't honourable, by the club, to put Bruce up for public/media ridicule knowing his replacements are being interviewed.

Watching the party turn into Bruce in the lion's den, at the end, was sad and I don't even like the man.

If they had any class they'd have just put Jones in charge and paid Bruce off

You get the feeling they maybe didn't do their due diligence on how much it would cost to pay Bruce off and possibly hoped the speculation would make him resign

It's crying out for one of those "Hitler Videos" for the moment the Prince found out how much it was going to cost....

As far as I know the only named 'investment' of the PIF investment group is NUFC.

It'll be interesting to see how much money they're prepared to throw away on the club. It doesn't have the same worldwide appeal of Man Utd, for example, and they can't increase entry prices to the level of Chelsea, etc

They won't finish top half and need to spend vast amounts to improve the squad, ground, facilities, etc.

The involvement of the Ruebens brothers is the big puzzle, what on earth is that all about.

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia was established in 1971, and is that nation's sovereign wealth fund. It provides financing for productive commercial projects that are strategically significant to the development of the Saudi Arabian economy.11th Oct 2021

I wonder if they'll be walking through the streets of London, dressed like that, next week ....

... I'd love it if they did, love it.

It was just so unnatural, you'd be leaping about wouldn't you? Especially with a start like they had today, not just an awkward arms around person, then again the Saudi man must've been like "Get this woman off mw immediately, before I
They've got a vested interest haven't they in the area the ground is built on, now unless the Saudis are going to fund a new ground, which doesn't look like will be the case going off Staveley's comments of At James being the home of Newcastle, and won't want to change that, well...
