You can also look at the hypocrisy the other way. Such intolerance for gays within their own borders due to their religious beliefs but so tolerant of the thousands of gays walking the corridors of NUFC, Disney and Facebook etc when money is concerned.
That is ****ing pathetic, akin to saying that if you pay for someone to get killed, you haven't committed a crime. Every decent world leader, Amnesty International have all addresses and failed to end the murderous regime, yet they think cos they've bought their club, they will be so heavily taken in, that they will change their ways after centuries of being that way.
Checkmate! When all this kicked off I was almost indifferent to it all. As the days have gone by I've come to realise it stinks. Football as a whole has turned a blind eye to such things in the past but this is the next level. Saddens me.
One of my mag mates literally said “you had a kiddy fiddler playing fir you. You all supported him” as a comeback. So he’s comparing the entire SAFC supporting public, who turned on Johnson the second he admitted it and supported him until knowing the truth, to them supporting a murderous regime! It beggars belief some of the things they come up with
They had a coach working with their youth teams for 25yrs who was a kiddy fiddler https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=Awr...694.html/RK=2/RS=yNllOU0V7FYhzLGhO69kXuvuojM-
There’s a lot of interest around the globe about the situation, think it could get worse also. Amnesty international getting involved now. https://www.amnesty.org.uk/press-re...nt-human-rights-meeting-after-saudi-newcastle
We might find out that the prem league have bitten off more than they can chew when the vitriol hits all the games. Let them explain that away to the new owners.
I won't lie, I think I embarrassed myself when the news came through of the take over. Out on honeymoon and all I could remember was dancing on a table and buying random people drinks . Don't think I'd drunk so much in such a long time (not good for a lightweight like me!)
The mackems I'd been supping drinks with that night (and every other night) knew full well of my allegiances at that point. Canny lad to be fair but it's his fault I gained 15lbs over the course of the 10 days!
It's something I have no control of. Would I prefer someone without a dubious track record? Yes. However, they offer the club hope. It's not like Fat Mike was an angel himself to be fair. Also with Russian and Chinese money in the PL and Qatari money in Paris, these guys aren't the only ones. In terms of football, I don't buy into the big spending hype. I'm happy to be competing and for the facilities to be upgraded (and the removal of Bruce!!)
