He essentially thought that with 11 men we wouldn’t be able to score at home against Norwich and that it would be better to play 80+ minutes with 10 men. All true and I appreciate your post. But Im still right and I have been all season even though most of our fellow fans are not able to see. We have the worst team and squad we have ever had. We put the contract in front of him believing his decision making was good enough; he simply signed - so we blame the employer for employing him. We have to wait until after the Burnley game, if we don't win, then let's all cry together, we really will be done. If we win we have a chance. And we will 2-0. I got the Norwich result right. It was massive that we didn't lose right at the end, Norwich will be even more angry than us.
You’re giving up and quitting. With that team we aren’t going to win the PL but most of them put up a fight and with a bit of luck and better refereeing could have won after playing 85 minutes or thereabouts against 11 men. If the team show the same commitment for the rest of the season boosted by good purchases and/or loans in January we will survive.
Clark has been a decent servant but has struggled for a year now. Should be gone. No way Lashelles should be in ahead of Fede, our top defender today. Like to see Lewis get a run, did ok today. Need Miggy back in the starting line up. Keep Hayden and Krafth out too. Never give up, until it’s mathematically certain you fight on at 100%. No one has survived from our position before…..YET. Nobody qualified for the knockout stages of the CL either having lost their first 3 or 4 group stage games or whatever it was all those years ago…but we did It. We had a slightly better team/squad back then granted but it’s all relative innit…just on a slightly different scale and unfortunately for us at the minute on a scale of 1 to **** we are closer to **** than we are to 1 .
For us to stand any chance whatsoever we need Burnley to lose tonight. Leeds scoring a 93 minute penalty didn’t help either. And we have to beat Burnley.
Bournemouth were always very streaky under Howe. They used to go on great winning runs. It's no where near over. We just need to settle down on a side. The back 4 we had after the sending off should be left in place imo
