Can you explain the difference between their 1969 creation and their 1969 emergence?

And will doubtless still be having it, in exactly the same format, in 25 years time <yikes>

To be fair, it is relevant. The only decent thing the IRA ever did was try to blow the old witch up.

What about discussing the situation Libya? Surely no one could bring Ireland into that debate?

Mind you Ghadaffi did give the IRA semtex by the boatload :emoticon-0110-tongu

You could post a picture of a cow's digestive system and those 2 would be arguing about Ireland within a matter of posts.

Everyone knows Godwin's Law which states that the longer an internet discussion goes, the more certain it becomes that Hitler or the Nazis will be mentioned.

We have something similar on this site, the Medro-Rebel Law, which states that the longer a discussion goes the more certain it becomes that Ireland will be mentioned.

yep - you could start a discussion about Paul McCartney writing the Frog Chorus and he'd say it was code for criticising the Koran.

There also Tarquin's Law which states that I must post a picture on the Celtic board within 5 minutes of them conceding a goal. ST becomes very upset if I don't. <ok>

I stayed till the end but didn't post anything. I became absorbed by an argument between a Geordie and some French blokes on the feed I was watching. It made some of the stuff on GC seem urbane and well-informed.

If you don't like me abusing you then **** right off. It isn't difficult and you're not well liked, merely tolerated.
