Mafia new game sign up thread

As in the last game, I propose the first round we all vote for a different person and let the mafia reveal themselves or be at risk of the dice roll.

It is the mathematically correct strategy and since I don't even know who I am yet you can't accuse me of bias and ignore my genius game-winning advice like last time

You both are wrong and neither theory will work perfectly as outside influences will be at work, besides you can't be talking the most active commenters out of the game

Agree there is no flawless tactic. Astros one vote per person didn't work, not did Biscans 'pick on someone' approach. If pushed, I'd be inclined to go with Astro at first though since there is very little to go on in the early rounds #fairestapproach

 

I reckon first round you want some form of chat anyway and force the mafia into talking, I reckon you knock off the quiet one round 1. It's that or just accept that the odds are just in favour of innocent getting lynched and accept it

You might even with 15 in just pick someone who didn't post and knock them off for example

 

Usually better to get three or so people on the bubble to be voted off.

That way you frequently see people playing strategy because odds are likely you get one in there that is mafia and in 33% vote off chance they strategise.

 

We'll see. You've got 15 players so you'll know what roles shortly but yes last round neither top 2 were mafia and neither then had to do anything, try to vote 15 people all for each other ain't gonna happen so it'll be interesting
