Assuming Gerrez joins (he has to so we can kill him) that makes 10 so same number as last time plus whoever else joins.

So got enough for a decent game!

If someone is voted and the mafia don decides to convert them rather than kill does everyone then know they are mafia so likely to get killed off in next round?

Statistically, Mafia will win more times than townfolk if the person eliminated is 100% random (as in everyone votes for a different individual). What Astro was hoping for was that Mafia would panic and not follow his plan.
One of the Mafia didn't follow his plan- but the other person who didn't (and was first to buck the trend) was a townie.

I think Mafia are more likely to team up and give themselves up when stakes are higher on one individual. If it's a 2 or 3 horse race they're more likely to give themselves away by teaming up. I could be wrong, but I think one vote per person could help the Mafia more than the town usually...


Pyschology helps rather than pure randomness... If someone is online- and not commenting much- waiting until last minute to vote (MITO was always one of the last to vote last game despite being online, presumably because he was looking to see best option to try saving Danilo) they're probably guilty. Conversly- some people who make more comments than they normally do probably have a special role. Either Mafia or a Townie.

Trick when Mafia is to not make yourself obvious... try to post as frequently as you would if you were a normal townie.

Execution happens before the conversion- so Don couldn't carry out conversion. This happened in day 2 on the last game. Danilo wanted to convert Gerrez- but Gerrez got executed instead so Mafia lost out on their conversion that night- and Danilo was executed on day 3 so still couldn't convert anyone- he was executed before he could convert anyone.
