What did I get so wrong in such a small sentence?

 

I don't think there's such a word as 'nadoes'. It would be 'nid oes'.

I would've also replaced 'achos' with 'oherwydd'.

I got a C too Just the school I went to, everything was taught in Welsh and everybody in my area speaks it as a first language so its a bit easier for me to pick it up naturally.

 

Typo. Was meant to be nad oes and we were taught achos for because. And my basic grasp of the language has dropped a lot since school!

 

Yeah 'achos' does mean 'because', but because of the fact that it also means case (as in court case) we were always discouraged from using it and using 'oherwydd' instead.

I'm guessing you don't speak it with anyone you know? That always helps I feel!
