I get all excited waiting to see how we've done lol

 

DAY 5:


The group grudges back north, taking a route that is hot, dull and draining. You reach the hotel nearing nightfall and are very foot weary and forlorn. You settle back down into your own beds once again. Well that was completely pointless. Perhaps tomorrow you might find a new way to go. . You all wish Prisoner 17 the very worst after finding the missing number tags from prisoner 10 and 16 in his backpack. He is thrown out of the hotel and told to go escape as best he can. Nobody feels like pretending its anything but a death sentence.



At NIGHT a masked figure bursts into prisoner 13’s room armed with a baseball bat. He swings it wildly with his left hand smashing 13’s head in. A poison capsule bursts in the prisoners mouth.

Later that night as you sleep the windows of prisoners 3’s room start to rattle. He starts but finds the weight of 10 combined bodies press down upon him. The temperature drops, and his very soul is drawn from his body ripping the life from his body.


In the morning you gather in the lobby just like day 1. Prisoner 17 is nowhere to be seen. Good riddance you think. neither is 3 or 13 and you find their bodies... this just keeps getting worse.

You are about to host a much smaller meeting to decide again what to do to escape when Prisoner 19 runs in. “guys, you’ll never guess what I’ve found!”


You look at each other, 19 isn’t the sharpest tack in the box. Nice guy and all that but jeez I think we all know what he found by now.


You all follow the guy…. You head for the laundry room.


There within the spin drier you find the badly burned remains of prisoner 17. You open the door and the smell of boiled flesh hits you. The heat of the drier has scaled the corpse but the jumpsuit still bears the number.

Purely out of need for 19 to find his jocks you remove the body from the drier. He’s been badly mauled but a few things still stand out. A chunk of flesh is lodged in his teeth, a piece of paper has been wedged in his mouth and most curiously you find he could not have been alive when he was stuffed in there… Small mercies…


After milling about the remaining prisoners head back and have a debate.


Do you:


1. Head east for the cove


2. Head north and put as much distance between you and the hotel as possible


3. Decide to settle in and live safely here like the warden said you should in the first place. Lesson learned.

 

What I don't get is if we can't afford a single mistake how do we afford to make as many mistakes as we actually do make?

Woo! That's a good night for us, we've lost the vigilante but we've killed a SK (hadn't even realised we had one) and a guard!

So there is just the warden and the head cult person left? Or have I got that wrong?

Edit: unless there was a recruitment?

I think whichever team the mafia is (guards or acolytes) they would have started with 4 players.

We've killed 2 guards and 2 acolytes plus the SK.

What is everyone else's view on numbers?
