Why not just kill the editor?

It also depends who else is a known innocent e.g. a cop

A cop + editor as known innocents would turn into "just do what us 2 decide or you are suspicious"

Because you could manipulate the editor to get townies to kill innocents

Maybe there could be an editor and a journalist:

Editor: decides what is published in the paper but doesn't write anything, just chooses yes or no for submissions by the journalist and the adverts
Journalist: does investigations and can submit an article to the editor. The journalist knows who the editor is but no one else knows.

So if the editor is converted he can publish adverts that accuse innocent people. But those adverts must be written by either a mafia member, or by an innocent who has a wrong theory (this means an innocent can hurt the town by spreading BS).

The editor can choose to reject the journalist's article but that would be suspicious. The journalist could announce the identity of the editor if he suspects him but that was also announce his own identity.

Having a role doesn't mean you have nowhere to go, depends what the roles are. I didn't mean everyone had a major role, for example the doctor role you have me before. It was a minor nothing role but it became quite important as the game progressed.
 
The little guys have to work twice as hard

Then they get made <ok>

All ordinary townies will have to have the skill to survive and be impressive enough to get made

The thing is.... All the mafias so far seem to be more interested in killing people than recruiting people... Dunno why really as it just seems to be oh who do we whack ha ha not who'd be great on our team. The only time I was on Mafia was when danilo didn't get tines right as some Mafia with recruit ability so never got either option

Kill =one off other team
Recruit = gain one yourself and other team lose one

Well at least two of the games had recruiting restrictions that meant no recruitment could happen until one of the Mafia team died. Somewhat takes the decision out of their hands <laugh>

I realise not everyone can have a major role, just thought something would be better than nothing such as the articles suggestion Astro and I were discussing earlier. I've been on both sides but prominently a innocent, I've had two roles in what, five games? I can pretty guarantee the game is more fun when you have a role, particularly a Mafia role. Of course, I've not had a major townie role yet either, only the Doctor role.
 
Anyone able to help me contact anyone that might be interested even from the last game?

Will be in us this week so I'd like to get numbers sorted
 
Who was the United fan that came in and took over from Sky last game.... he seemed quite clued up (for a United supporter) :huh:
 
Is Sisu not interested? Thought this would be right up his street
