Danilo is looking very very suspicious.

Plan is still for a 50/50 with him and afcftw for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Well it is, compared to RHC!

Danilo does make a good point. If we arrested Bod, and the current paper is correct, then we could trust tomorrow's paper.

The only problem is- it assumes we know that today's paper WASN'T hacked. We don't.

Currently, the paper has the accuracy of the Daily Mail- I don't think we should live or die by the paper...read it- but don't believe it as 100% true. Either the paper keeps getting hacked- or Astro is feeding the journalist information that isn't always true... or at best... he's not giving him 100% of the truth (such as me being normal townie not vigilante).

Whatever is happening- paper isn't giving 100% correct information even when it isn't hacked.

 

Leaving work now, will only be online very briefly (mainly to read through posts occasionally), and will then hopefully be online close to the deadline.

One of them will claim to be the journalist I am sure.
Thats why that code was put in the last article as insurance in case one of them gets nominated.

My shortlist for the Assassin is one of these 4:
Bod, Valley, AFC, and Danilo.

 

But the current paper is not correct!!
Feel free to arrest me tho if you want, I have no role so we lose nothing. But we want to make sure the assassin doesnt get to kill tonight, we are running out of townies. More important that our potential assassins are jailed or lynched.
At best I am the hacker (if you believe todays article), and thats not who we want.

 

If today's paper were hacked you could be the assassin.
If today's paper were hacked it could be that the hacker said you were the hacker so that when tomorrow's paper comes out and says today's was hacked people would think you're innocent.

Today's paper was the first to actually give a role.
Day One said "Lucas innocent" didn't give a role.
Day Two said "Milk regular townie" didn't give a role.

The fact that today's paper was specific in giving a role makes me suspect it might have been hacked.


Unless paper confirms something two days in a row- we can't trust it.



If tomorrow's paper comes out and confirms you as hacker then that lowers my shortlist (for assassin... the one we need to kill to win the game) to:
Valley, AFC, and Danilo.

One of whom is probably going to die tomorrow anyway. Then tomorrow night we lynch one and arrest the other.

 

Well thanks a bunch. If you had followed previous games this is par for the course for me. When the game starts slowing down I speak up because I've shut up and observed so far.

I also want to point out that the journo didn't investigate Mummy. Reading the paper, they investigated Lucaaas (no known role aka didn't do anything that night). They investigated Bodanki and got hacker. This means that the second night the hack was in effect - which would explain why Mummy was inserted there as "always having been a townie". This could be done to protect Mummy (if he has a secret mafia power - unlikely) or get him in trouble when the journalist finds the hack and reports this.

The third night Swarbs was investigated and nothing was noted. If there was no assassination last night then he wouldn't show up on the radar. If there was one while Nozzer was in jail that would exonerate BOTH Swarbs and Nozzer of being the assassin. Hoping that Astro has not lied to us and the only two remaining players are the hacker and assassin, then we can only suspect that they are the hacker. Which Nozzer can't be - he was in jail, meaning the paper tonight is true. (Meaning Bod is the hacker)

If Swarbs was the hacker, then he could have written the article pointing his finger at Bodanki. However if Swarbs knows he isn't the hacker, then he has to assume that the paper is true and Bodanki is the hacker.

Then we have STB. This gives 3 confirmed town members.

After that we have information that Bodanki is Hacker and Mummy is Vigilante.

So we have 3 innocents, 1 probable innocent, and 1 mafia. Leaving 3 or 4 of us under suspicion. Amongst them is the journalist and the assassin.

I count in that group myself, AFC, and Valley. I'll take a split vote for the good of the game. If I'm gone though - Bodanki and one of the two remaining have to go.

 

If I was the assassin, hacking todays paper and naming me as the hacker would be an extremely dodgy move for the mafia. Though it does sound audacious enough to believe, sounds like an IBWT.

But the mafia wouldn't be drawing attention to me , the only person that can win them the game, if I was the assassin surely, thats BRB level madness
