Funnily enough, my response to your long post above was going to be "the freemasons thread doesn't back this up" I find it funny that people claim to have had me pegged yet I was let off the hook (for lynching) three times (Milk logged it too) and no one ever mentioned it in the last couple of days. I do find it frustrating that no one (bar Milk who again logged it whilst MITO questioned me for not changing my vote... twice ) recognises or respects the game I played when in trouble. On that first day I was seven minutes away from being lynched after leading the poll for almost three hours!!! I know its only a game / a bit of fun but that takes some bottle to do. I had done similar in the other games (it killed me in Mafia 1) so I was pinning my hopes on others knowing this and playing by my reputation; I believe it worked three times
I thought we played well as a team. With Magic too, we had both a team and individual approach which was a good combo
You survived day one because brb was so obviously guilty that I killed him instead of you. It was a split and I had to get sky and myself off the hook, my choice was lynch you or lynch brb. At first it was going to be you but brb was far too guilty and make my decision easier. You survived by luck
Definitely. As has been said, we got a bit lucky round 1, but can't say it was luck about you being stubborn and making people change their vote and me getting Lucaas to trust me and sacrifice himself for me Definitely helps having 2 active members on your team and Magic being inactive a lot actually helped as kept him away from suspicion as well
Oh... and roles were randomly selected again. Not handpicked. I almost put AFC as third Mafia after picking Billy and Bod... thought that would be amusing after Mafia2. Thought better not in case someone saw connection. Left it to random chance and random.org picked brb next making it the "B mafia" : Billy, Bod and Brb.
Ah, didn't think anyone had noticed Yep, there was no way we were going to target the freemasons since they had little power. We were wanting the cop, journo, vigilante and Mafia recruiter/assassin who could all hurt the KGB. If we had no idea on any of them we might have gone for a Freemason but it was very unlikely. Maybe so but a bit like AFC, it was based on a incorrect assumption that meant he luckily stumbled upon the right accusation. AFC... you coughed up your reason for randomly picking me yet? I asked you at the time and your response was that you had your reasons but not ones you were willing to share.
Also I think the main thing we should all remember is the KGB won due to the forum keeping danilo and sky from voting with me and gerrez dying on the last day. In my head I'm going with that version of events rather than the one where everyone stopped posting a couple of days before the game finished and none of the innocent people could get online meaning KGB just had to be online to win And that's final! In all seriousness though, thanks once again for the game. The first couple of days were good fun. Particular thanks to milk for organising the game! No thanks to those who didn't play properly through inactivity or anger problems! But in general it's a thanks to those who played
The one thing I would change about roles: Perhaps have more kills for assassins and vigilantes. Or have a role that can't kill until night 4 (lead spy/godfather perhaps). Shame only one death a night towards the end... slowed the game down.
Yeah... game petered out a bit after night 3. By that time the talkative posters were mostly killed, hosting the game , laying low bc they were kgb/mafia or having internet problems.
You don't know that because you didn't know for certain Danilo was innocent. Sky could have thought otherwise and convinced you to change. Fact is, none of us know how it would have gone it the game not been ruined
Exactly this! We never needed to do anything on the final day so we have no idea how it would have gone. However, what I will say is my plan to kill one of you two off on the penultimate night would have been a better tactic. I would have recruited Danilo (see the logs) and the innocents would have been questioning the freemasons.
We didn't but it gave us the best of both worlds. Biscan and I were playing tactical and planning on the QT board. Magic was unpredictable but he was also checking in on the QT board, plus I was PMing him too!
Btw. Sky loses his record of being the only person to survive on the winning team in every game played on this forum. Gerrez holds a diff record though. He has been on the winning team all three times. (Killed one though)
I listed majority of roles around midday on day two. I was only missing the journo and godfather and we didn't give a **** about the latter.
1) yep, we definitely noticed your vote, panic and edit! It pretty much guaranteed for me I'd got it right and you were KGB. 2) yep, no reason to vote the Freemason if a better option was available, but you guys thought sky was the journo until I was forced by town to reveal I had a role and then it was obvious, so RHCs comment pretty much made sure from that point he would die. That shows swarbs point to be wrong though rather than you agreeing with him! 3) I'd suspected you multiple times through the game and you were on my KGB list on day two, believe I mentioned you a couple of times but no-one picked up on it. I then took my attention off you but later looking for patterns in the votes I decided there was a good chance you were KGB. Once I thought you were KGB it seemed you had probably been kept in it in round one and there was a decent chance you were the recruiter or assassin. By the time danilo had chimed in near the end of the game I was leaning towards recruiter if you were KGB, but felt i needed to figure out magic/danilo before I could be sure, so I used the vote to try and gain info with the intent of making the town go with my theory the following day. And once you'd done your Vote, panic, edit manoeuvre I was pretty sure of myself. Top that off with the game getting boring, people being inactive and me generally getting bored and stoned I decided it'd be hilarious to kill you either way. If he eu game had to end in a loss at least we could do it hanging you up
