If they found out for example I was innocent then they may not feel it's in the best interest to share that info as you then make it obvious to Mafia / kgb and a primer suspect for a kill/concert Or it helps the kgb/Mafia narrow down the other team (although atm I'm not sure if that's good for us in the town or not). Depends if they are going to take out the towns people first or each other first I guess?
Would the Mafia or KGB be able to make a decision like that? They only know who is in their team and are in the dark for the rest. If our two that can communicate recruit someone (assuming the recruited person is a innocent) and the Mafia / KBG remain intact then its pretty much equal with each team having a three man party sharing knowledge etc.
same here. My tactic is to pick randomly then see what happens. Others are doing their own thing so as sky hasn't even been on... well... i got nothing. For sure I'm going to try and create some coin toss... right now its going afcftw and gerrez so if it does it does just add one more in IMO.

If it was up to me to choose I'd have lucaaas, brb, mito and two of those who haven't spoken much or voted yet, in the running leading up to nightfall. Not because I'm sure they are mafia or KGB... But I think a five way tie would be a good idea and I'd rather not be in it!
the two free masons can get their numbers up to 3 with some risk involved (can pick a mafia who then will know who is who and manipulate them). so they are team 3 but town is team 3.5 as it were. our votes can tip things so its about trying to find the pattern within the randomness. I like the kink that having two townies voting together can give as now if you see something you can't quite be 100% sure its dodgy.
But at the start our two won't know who is innocent and who is mafia or KGB, so how would they recruit? If they end up recruiting one of the bad guys we could all end up being lead up the wrong path!

I suppose thats all we can do at this stage I guess. I will vote for Sky, no offence pal, its based on nothing, and I will probably change if I whiff any foul play going on later, just putting a vote out there.
i think milk should clarify... the way i read it their info gets published. they are TOWN why would they play dishonestly as its a free way to get info back to the town and help their own side. i'd just like it calrified so we can move on.
Slightly different to what I thought would happen I thought, with there being a 24hr delay, the reporter would let you know who they wanted to investigate before nightfall, you would give them the result at day break and then they would tell you what they want the article to say prior to the following nightfall.
Lucaaas placed his vote for me early on in the game and it made me the first person with two votes even though only a few votes had been cast at that point he also gave no explanation, even a "I'm just placing a random vote to see how things go" or anything. So I figured since we don't really have much to go on, that was suspicious enough to put him in amongst a handful of others. Brb said he wasn't going to read through the thread and made a plea to be lynched first day, so I figured he was either bluffing or not going be that active which could cause us problems later in the game. His vote also put me out clearly in the lead for votes. Again, with not much to go on so far that seems enough to put him in amongst it. Your being very helpful and I find it suspicious! No particular reason with you just an early gut feeling. Not advocating we cut off your head just yet! And I think a couple of those who haven't spoken or voted are highly likely to be mafia or KGB so it's worth getting a couple of them in on the action.
Journalist can post whatever they want. I can't think of a reason why they would be dishonest to town- they are aligned with town- however if they told me to post "XXXX" is innocent when they knew contrary- I would publish it. Wouldn't make sense though. UNLESS they had been converted. Journalist still runs paper after being converted.
I will vote for brb to keep the multiway coinflip going. The only small reason for choosing him over someone else is because he posted about his confusion. This is sometimes done by mafia in paranoia of their actions looking contradictory or illogical, like IBWT did last game. Of course he also has legit reasons to be confused but in the case he wins the coinflip and is innocent then losing a confused and inexperienced player with no time to pay attention is the least worse case out of the innocents.
I think Lucaaas just dislikes posters that comment a lot, he's had a few pops at me during these games too
hmmm.... so anyway.. there are others you could have put on the board here but as you've voted for the same guy i have and neither of us have any reason to other than to see what happens i'll just be clear; I do intend to switch if i see something so don't take it as some sly tactic to put sky at risk then I've jumped off him cos I'd not be that thick to put anyone up for a vote if i were on a team. I reserve the right to change especially to make a tie later...
