Mackie has been my favourite player for the last 3 years - he plays well, creates chances and I imagine even bleeds blue and white hoops. I would be very pleased if he were seen to be captain material but I think that for right now the captaincy needs to rest with Nelsen - he has impressed me off the pitch with his outlook. Jamie is still my boy, but I like the nelsen for captain - at least for now
