Aye, you're right, he did. Ball was a great skipper, he can string swear-words together better than anyone I've come across (and I've come across a few) and will cut to the chase, but tactically he is inept - we saw it last time he was caretaker. To sort themselves out they have to start by making the SOL a Fortress of Light and Pullis fills that Bill perfectly - but they were ready to be challenging for top eight and Pullis does not fill that Bill in any way. The new appointment is a real dilemma could they go the way of Wolves?
