Simon I'm not bothered either way, but if it's going to happen i wanted to get someone elses view about him. As for only scoring 10-goals last season, its not bad if played out of position. We've seen the same with Beckford at Everton, played either as a lone striker or out wide, didn't work but he still scored more than anyone else at everton that season. last season again out of position or on the bench, but when played proper position scored a bag full. Lineker prolific but played on the wing for Barcelona, garbage. Kuyt centre forward for Holland played in midfield for Liverpool, garbage. So if he comes i just hope Warnock plays him where he'll do some damage. And dont forget his assists which is a big plus
Happy to have CMS in the squad, but NOT as a consequence of losing McCormack. Anyone with a football brain can see McCormack has quality and is a player WE MUST KEEP. It beggars belief that Warnock would even consider letting McCormack go, when he is the only quality player we have in the squad. I'm getting very very worried by Warnock's squad filling of basically very average players, we will suffer the consequences of this I am 100% positive.
Boyd CMS Beckford Maynard Just NW putting feelers out to see who is available and for what price should the T/O happen - If we are linked with a player anywhere near £2M forget it unless the Snoddy money and a trade in with McCormack is going to be used. Honestly folks, if the money was there we would already have Warnocks marquee signings at the club. It isn't and no way are the possible new owners sanctioning anything, Bates would not dare risk being footed with a bill. Every penny spent so far is NW saving wages and wheeling and dealing maybe with a boost at the start with some funds promised after the sale of Howson.
CMS and then a 1m bid for Aaron McLean from Hull City..... a good partnership at Peterborough Back together at Leeds ..
