I'm embarrassed to tell you guys this but... Vorm has seen two balls fly past him in the net, the Dutch are losing against Estonia... ESTONIA FFS!!
JDG is coming on, last sub Van Gaal can make and turn around this embarrassing display of football, 15 minutes to go, 2-1 behind. I', about to get depressed as hell. The Eredivisie teams not performing in Europa, Oranje looking ****, can we ever get a break!
Definitely taxi for Coleman, never have rated him, sooner he's gone the better for Wales, the guy is clueless!.......
Van Persie scores from a penalty kick, 2-2 FT. He even dared to cheer after the goal. I'm going to do my midnight walk of shame, of which I've already done close to a dozen this season already.
But bring in who? We haven't the players to qualify and when the likes of Bale, Allen and Ramsay don't play every game we are stuffed as there ain't enough Welshmen playing at the highest level of football to compete at international level.
What the **** was David Vaughan playing at between the 78th and 83rd minute?!?!? His legs went, done, caput, fubar....mis-controls a simple pass on the edge of our box, then gives the ****ing thing away...then he gets a good chance to win the ball back and atone for his error but gets brushed off to the ground....GOAL! About a minute after the restart he does the same ****ing thing again....except this time they don't score, and Coleman hauls him off. ...and yet people seem to think the loss was Coleman's fault! That's our problem gentleman. Take Bellamy, Bale, Ramsey, Allen or J Williams out of that team and you have the likes of Ledley, Vaughan, Crofts etc. playing (and doing their best....I've defended Vaughan on here before, he has his qualities and is capable of good games).....it doesn't matter who the manager is. In order to even stand a chance of qualifying we need our first XI to stay fit and be available every time we take to the field.
Same here, watched a few games when Wales have been at the Liberty and just can,t get interested enough to seriously cough up my 'hard earned' to follow them anywhere! To tell the truth, I get a far bigger buzz watching and supporting my club than my country ! England are worth watching qualifying for tournament after tounament and then blowing it on the big stage
Valley anyone but the dick who is there now. Whoever they employ he cant be worse. Now maybe Mabon would be a better choice at least he would have the passion.
Wales are ranked 46 and our opponents at 89. Our star player doesn't get a kick and our manager forgets his passport. So typically FAW. And they wonder why they can't get supporters to turn up for games. Bring on Team GB (yes I know it'll never happen).
Lost interest in Wales' football team when they selected Vinnie Jones, whenever that was. No big deal Wales being perennial also rans. Wales, however, have a national rugby team to be proud of,and they fly the Welsh flag around the world.
Across the world not many people play or are interested in rugby, Lib. I include myself in that. The 'world cup' is a joke as there are only about 10 top teams worldwide. The rest are make-ups. Rugby tends to be rammed down the kids' throat at school here and many say it's because of that Welsh football has suffered. Football is a truly global game.
Denmark scrapes 1-2 win against Malta: winning goal was a Malta OG (!), besides Malta had the biggest goalscoring opportunities in the match OMG OMG OMG OMG - Denmarks National team sucks - you can lose to some decent side, but not being able to secure a solid win against Malta is hopeless...
Agreed Knackered, but the point I was making is that Wales are insignificant on the football world stage, whereas the rugby team are anything but, albeit on a smaller stage. We should rejoice in that status,it was hard earned, and many would like to see us fail. I went to a grammar school-Bishop Gore-that only allowed rugby. In fact, I was slapped across the face, and caned by the sadistic headmaster for using a wire waste basket as a goalpost during break. I was then forced to play for the school rugby team, but being a bolshie b I just dropped the ball if it happened to stray into my hands. They got the message, and I was never picked again, but the sadism continued, and I had become an easy target for the h/master. He was ultimately exposed, not by me,but by parents' of other boys that he was bullying. The exposure came via The Evening Post, with local and national politicians expressing their concerns re his attitude and behaviour. He was forced to apologise, and was then sacked. But the damage was done,I had become a cynical b,and hated rugby. I no longer hate the sport, and can appreciate it for what it is,and am proud of Wales in that arena, especially when they cane England. So I do know all about the pro rugby stance of many schools. Not sure how it affected Welsh football though, since Swansea was a conveyor belt producing top quality players back in the late 40's,early 50's.
1. I think you'll find that rugby is now expanding into other countries, whether be through the second tier 6Nations, rugby 7s or the pacific tournaments along with the major international tournaments. 2. The same can be applied to the football world cup as outside the top 10, you could argue that the standard of football is also a joke as the rest of the countries are there to make up the numbers.
Your right there valley.. The problem with welsh football is not the manager its the welsh FA who cant see further than their noses. If the English FA acted like the welsh FA they would be just as bad. the English insists on players getting released by clubs and make sure that if they are injured by using their own medical team. The welsh FA dont give a monkeys who plays and wont stump up the insurance required by clubs to release their players into their care. you will always see big names left out of the welsh team because the Welsh wont insure them. Coleman's hands are tied somewhat and cant really be blamed for not playing a full strength side as he is being stopped by the useless people running welsh football.....Look at the way they run the mickey mouse they call the LOW....
