This is a massive game. Following our costly slip at the weekend, where, irrespective of the performance of the referee, we should have won - failing to score in the first half is poor, and everyone I know who was at the game was hugely disappointed with the performance. Having seen the highlights, the two decisions look completely wrong (I can't understand how the ref can have given them) and I'm glad to see we're appealing the red card.
However, I wouldn't be surprised to see it not be overturned. We will almost certainly see Morgan ahead of Gornell, and, if D. Mac's red isn't rescinded, I should think we'll see Richards in the middle with Jacobson back at LB. Grandison wasn't feeling well last week, so his inclusion isn't guaranteed.
However, we need to win. Despite their reasonable home form, they are on a woeful run without a victory in 2012. COYB
P.S: Mekki is a prick.
Macclesfield:
Shrewsbury:
Lenny's SUPER Fact: Only five teams have come away from Moss Rose this season with a League win. Only us, Plymouth, Crawley, Torquay and Oxford have lost fewer home games.
Lenny's GRANDISON Fact: Jermaine Grandison can rub two pieces of fire together and make wood.
Lenny's Prediction: Macclesfield 1-2 Shrewsbury (Wright, Collins attendance 3101)
