Macaulay Bonne - Agent and now Wife not happy

I wouldn't want to play football for Charlton (with a heart condition) and then rely on our Medical Team to protect me!

 

The Charlton Medical Dept have already diagnosed it as an ingrowing toenail.

 

I know from personal experience, they can be very, very painful

 

Bonne has been cleared to play for us after cardiac tests. Great for him, and us.

 

Hats off to Macauley.

He has proved a lot of fans wrong this season, me included. I thought the step up from the non league to the Championship would be too much, but Macca has surpassed expectations with 8 goals to date. There are aspects of his game that need improving, including his first touch and his jumping for headers, but his work rate is exceptional & his goal tally a bonus. Both goals yesterday were particularly impressive finishes in their own right - as with his header at Fulham, he is taking difficult chances, not just tap ins.

I am an excellent judge of a footballer and I saw in Macauley Bonne somebody who could make the step up given the chance. £200000 well spent.

 

And I’m sure he’ll improve even more playing along side Taylor and under the coaching staff

 

We urgently need at least two strikers in January. Leko has gone, and Hemed is all but gone in terms of his fitness.

 

I can't recall a player improve so much in a short space of time as Bonne-Bonne-Bonne. How good can he become? Lyle Taylor may not be the big cheese up front much longer.

 

Macauley Bonne’s agent Tweeted this last night. The player subsequently got injured during the game. The agent then deleted his Twitter account...

 

To be fair, it's not up to Macauley Bonne's agent whether he plays or not. That is Lee Bowyer's call.

Bonne's agent only wants one thing - to make as much money out of Bonne as possible.
Presumably this bloke wasn't beside himself with rage when Bonne was banging in goals and seeing his market value rocket.

 

Yeah, true enough Lardi, but it sounded as if he possibly pulled a hamstring after 30 minutes, and was still on the pitch at half time. I know we'ere down to the bones, but having the injury made worse, and losing another player for months isn't really very clever.

 

Agreed. Bonne should have been off within seconds of injuring his hamstring. Failure to do that cannot be defended.

 

Sounds similar to what happened with Oztumer.
