I think it gets to a point where we have too much quality and too many options that the lack of gelling becomes less of an issue......we will have a very strong 2nd half of the season as well.
Just checked the quote in your signature. Having a mistress called Lesbia should have rung his alarm bells...!
Lol. It's what I want tattooed on my side. Without getting too deep it sums up a few of my relationships down to a tee. Well its either that or the unabridged version of 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde'. And I think that might hurt after a while
He said exactly the same thing a few days ago. The signing of Cesar and others will bump up those numbers but still less than what most clubs have spent. Eg. Sunderland....£20m on a bench warmer and a championship player.
Mbia just confirmed on SSN that he has signed for QPR ahead of Fenerbache he is excited by the prospects and it is a different world
Marseille have confirmed there has been no agreement reached with QPR for the transfer of defensive midfielder Stephane M'Bia. The 26-year-old, who has 36 caps for Cameroon, had been tipped a move to Loftus Road, as Joey Barton is currently undergoing a medical with the French club. Despite M'Bia announcing he had chosen to move to QPR over Turkish side Fenerbahce, Marseille insist the deal has not been completed. "Right now there is no agreement," a Marseille official told AFP. "M’Bia was possibly getting ahead of himself. He did not play [in the Europa League game with Sheriff Tiraspol] because he is in transfer negotiations." Barton has been pictured at Marseille's training ground on Thursday in the club's training kit running alongside a member of the backroom staff. Earlier on Thursday, QPR announced a fee had been agreed with Real Madrid for the signing of midfielder Esteban Granero. The 25-year-old will move to Loftus Road subject to a medical and successful contract negotiations.
Joseph Barton‏@Joey7Barton Off to the Stade Vèlodrome to watch Marseille v FC Sheriff. Allez L'OM... 7 mins ago Barton wouldn't post this if he'd failed the second part of his medical? If he's passed it.. then he's going to Marseille. If he's going to Marseille then Mbia is probably coming to us? edit: Unless he's waiting for the results i suppose..
Touchy lot aren't you! Jealousy? Of QPR? Seriously? What is there to be jealous of, all of your signings haven't exactly been top class so don't kid yourself, you have a 2nd rate manager, IMHO. You are not an established premier league club and do not have the ground, training facilities or youth set-up anywhere near our standard. I cannot believe you have used the word jealous... lol You boys are too funny, a bench warmer - Adam Johnson! Now he is a world class player and easily better then anybody you have brought in pal, time will tell with Fletcher but he is proven in the premier league. I have absolutely no doubt we will comfortably finish above you boys this season, easily.
Not YET! But all the plans are in place for new training ground, stadium on the way, youth set up already attracting young talent and a scouting network being set up across the world. As I say currently we are not up to standard, but in a few years time we will have facilities to rival the best in the country. That is not being arrogant, that is the truth. And yes, other fans are quite clearly getting jealous looking at their comments over twitter and some on here.
As I say, not yet. Time will tell I guess mate. But some of the signings we are making and look like we are making are quality players, you cannot deny that. Just like Sunderland - you have signed some good quality.
Oh dear, joey just tweeted his mood is summed up by: "The Smiths - Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me " In all likelyhood he was crucial to the Mbia deal
Just seen a tweet saying that marsielle have upped their evaluation of Mbia. Don't know the source. Typical French bastards.
I'm reading reports that a fee for Mbia hasn't even been agreed yet. Wtf? Aren't OM in a bit of financial trouble? They can't really afford to f*** around for too long, surely?
