Your scraping the barrel abit they're pal<laugh>

You don't get a medal for just making the finals, you have to actually go and win it. Plus he couldn't help being from a country where they'd rather shag sheep, than practise playing football

Not really, Giggs won 13, Gerrard competed in 3 (won 0). Not quite the same is it

More examples of ******edness from the RS

These were supposed to be RECORDS established by the RS this last season:

    - Sturridge became only the fourth Liverpool player ever to score in the opening four games of a league season and the first since John Aldridge in 1987.

    - At Newcastle, Gerrard became only the 12th Reds player in history to score 100 league goals.

    - Against West Bromwich Albion at home Sturridge became only the second Reds player to score in eight of the club's opening nine league games of a campaign.

Records are supposed to be the first or the best. But the desperate RS count almost everything. The second , fifth, 12th best! What about United's season being nearly a success because they had their 10th best away record ever in the premiership ?

No wonder they are called ******ed <ok>

Leicester City will splash the cash to reach Premier League's top five in next three years. Club's Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha will pump £180m into the club to ensure success.

Looks like the two of us are competing for a place in Europe <cheers>

With so many teams splashing out to make the top 5.
We are going to see a dozen teams all vying for the top 5 soon.

Lets see, right now, teams that will aim to be (realistically) in the top 5 next year.

Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton, Spurs....and thats before you include Leicester in a few years time.
I think UEFA will have to increase the size of the Champions League at this rate.

Leicester will be relegated with a record low points and goals for.

Not even the tiniest bit of doubt on that front.

  14. He'll pump £180m in over three years? So he'll let the club spend the TV money then <doh>

Edit: £180m isn't that much over three years when talking about top five ambitions

City spend 1.5billion. Won 2 titles and 2 cups. So for your 180million you might get halfway to a trophy.

It would cost leicester 7 or 8billion. City are a small club and it cost them a fortune. Leicester are a small club even to the likes of city so....

  17. They'll pull Gary Lineker out the woodwork to represent them and help with signings. Players would have to refer to their dads to know who he is mind <laugh>

With all do respect to the biggest club in the world. It wouldnt take more than 10 million to have a better squad than united. Fergusson is undoubtedly the greatest manager in the game, considering you won the title last year.

Leicester have a manager who isnt concerned with price tags, he purchased a couple of players in the french second division. 2 wingers who will star in the premiership. A bargain is better than a rip off.

<cheers> You being the ripped off, Manchester city with the bargains.
